he took the job,he has to have known it would be blood out of a stone.....its great when other fans sneer at our spending ..but are desperate for some of the same... im afraid he will be managing with his umbrella tied behind his back..........should of asked billy.............
Welcome to hell SMc... hell ? why hell ?... because it will turn out to be one hell of a bad mistake becoming manager of trees.
This clown is getting his excuses in early....." i wasn't given the backing " ploy......xxxxx ready made...he is a loser..............
I might be off club party line here, but I expect the wally with the brolly to do a decent job at notts forest - The one obstacle in his way is the infamous Dutch interview where he made a total dick of himself - his personal credibility sank to a possible terminal low - That said, if he can win over the Notts squad he will deliver because one thing for sure is, he does know how to manage at club level - Sorry
His record at club level is a bit deceptive. Won the title in Holland fair enough, though I can't imagine it to be that difficult over there. Sacked by Wolfsburg and had a mediocre time at Boro. He did ok until they won the Carling Cup, then declined and anyone who watched their run in the UEFA Cup will say it was a fluke. In that season they were flirting with the relegation places throughout the season. He's an average manager - there are far better in this league. I predict Forest will finish between around 7th or 8th.
The bloke is a bit of a muppet but to be fair until Harry Rednapp won the cup with Pompey, he was the only English manager in recent times to win something, and I am not writing Forest off too soon!
