If you had to pick just 3 players to keep

I'm not talking about all players eg Abel, Huddlestone, Jelly, N'Doye etc... that will probably leave, but players that have a some chance of staying.

Mine (in order) would be:
1) Elmo. Gives 100%, is always fit and played just about every game, has put more crosses in than any other player we have ever had, we just need to sign a big sod that can head them in
2) Brady. Also gives his all, has slowly become better and better, he'll rip the Championship a new 'A***hole'
3) Macca. Gives 110% (you can see the theme here), will die for the cause, scares the sh1te out of attackers, exactly what we need.

Dawson was a close call for 3rd but his age put him behind Macca

 

Robertson, Brady, Chester. If I had only 3 to pick.

We need to score goals these guys will do that no problem in the championship what needs to change is the middle of the park. Keep Livermore as we ain't gonna get decent money for him and with the championship being so physical he would be fine hacking people down. Then how about Joey Barton just been released got the passion and the ability just needs managing properly. We ve got decent CB's in abundance Chester, Big Harry, Dawson, Davies, McShane,

I dont understand the fascination with keeping Brady. Yes he's very good but if he went we've got Robertson for left back and left wing back and Ince for left wing. Surely one of these needs to go and if it was one of them for me it'd be Brady. He's too slow for left wing, I'd rather have Ince bombing down there to danger areas instead of crossing from deep which Brady does and is much easier to defend.

I have to say I think sentiment is taking over here. If this thread had happened this time last week I dont think anyone wouldve named Rosenior as one of our top 3 absolute keep players.

 

Well you'd be wrong.

 

Think he might be right to an extent what with sentiment and him leaving.

 

He said no one would have chosen Rosenior. I would have.

 

Look back at the threads after Burnley, many had just resigned themselves to relegation and were talking about players for next season. From memory I'm sure there was a lot of people saying keep all the Irish lads, Chester, Rosenior and Bruce. Basically the ones that got us up.

 

Keeping Rosenior would absolutely be the right thing to do. Also a change in formation 4-4-2 Rosenior RB with Elmo RW.
