The Yanks are really ****ed off about it & have a massive bee in their bonnet as a result.
Four of the FIFA ****s have already pleaded guilty & are singing like canaries to get sentences reduced.
Their equivalent of turning Queens evidence if you like.

I was thinking that Billy. They`ll have a mound of evidence and the Yanks are very partial to `plea bargaining`.

    It could get messy.

Just needs one person to give evidence against that geriatric old snake Blatter and hopefully FIFA will get rid of this parasite. I love the timing of all this....just 2 days before the old barsteward was to have yet another coronation.

Fifa executives accepted bribes to help secure the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, the US Attorney General Loretta Lynch has said.

Ms Lynch was giving details of the US investigation into football's governing body.

She also alleged bribery was involved in Fifa's 2011 presidential election and the 2016 Copa America tournament, due to take place in the US.

This is the "beginning, not the end, of the investigation", Acting US Attorney Kelly Currie said.

Think you may be right there Billy

All this is obviously been done just before the FIFA election to maximise damage to Blatter. Can't be a coincidence surely. There is no way he can and will get away with this. It's akin to the Priminister having most of his cabinet arrested and him saying he knew nowt about it...now the yanks are involved it might actually get sorted once and for all. And to those who say we should pull out the world cup...we been pulling out of them for years now, normally at the group stage!
But it would actually only take 2 or 3 big footballing nations to get together and pull out and im sure more would follow. Sponsors would pull out and then it would be job done...

This graph shows the sickening extent of the Qatar World Cup deaths

please log in to view this image

A total of 1,200 migrant workers have died so far in construction since the 2022 Qatar World Cup was awarded -and the death toll could reach 4,000 by the time the event is held -
An investigation by the Mirror found workers were subjected to appalling working conditions in the cripplingly hot temeratures, including being beaten and paid just 57p an hour, which can be withheld for months at a time.

Workers are allegedly lured to the country by false promises of high salaries and then become trapped after employers take their passports. Under feudal kafala law, employees are bonded to employers and not allowed to quit or leave the country without their employer’s permission.

This is the one of the RICHEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD

World Cups to stay in Russia and Qatar for now, says Fifa on day of biggest crisis -

the clock is ticking and the walls are closing in on this QATAR fiasco !

There was a report on the radio today saying that bribery is not illegal in Switzerland.
    Stunning eh?
However, if a bribe is paid in US dollars it's a US Federal crime no matter where it was committed.

The whole thing stinks to high heaven, but when the death toll rises to the levels that it has in Qutar, then it goes beyond money and bribery etc, and they should be charged with man slaughter..

I just been listening to this American sports reporter on the radio & he reckons CONCACAF are well & truly ****ed.
UEFA have called for a postponement of the FIFA election but everybody seems to think it will still go ahead.
    How ****ing arrogant is that?
Even with the Feds & the US DoJ after them they still think they are untouchable, wtf?
Where the **** is Blatter anyway?
The **** hasn't uttered a word about all this.

Well even if they can't directly link him to all this, it's still happened under his watch.
    That makes him culpable imo.

Took the ****ing yanks to come in and sort football out.

Our FA is a ****ing disgrace.

Maybe these arrests led to Platini pulling out of running for this weeks vote if he was warned. Now at least we know why Blatter kept getting elected ,allowing the lads free reign in collecting dodgy dues whilst he patted himself on the back.

The leader of any organisation would have have offered to resign because of this. Hopefully it is the tip of the iceberg and the countries awarded the world cups will be massively implicated.

Twenty-two people voted to hold the World Cup in Russia and Qatar.

Seven of those people were arrested today.

Imagine that seven members of the Cabinet were arrested today, Cameron would resign within minutes.

This is the end for Blatter and for FIFA in it's present form.
