I noticed the thread last night Leoardo but did not want to just delete it so was going to get your opinion this morning, but you beat me too it.

Thanks very much AK. Hope you're all well. I have another day of sitting around and going to the gym as I'm waiting for the start date of my job. I'm currently going through "security checks"!

 

My morning was going quite well until the Sordell thing!

I did my usual "get the dinks in" at work, but got chatting to the coffee shop girl (no not in that way). The shop was so empty you could hear the musak - and it was a dreadful cover of the lovely "In between days" by The Cure from 1985. But this cover was rubbish, there was no heart or soul in it.

Now I'm not usually a big fan of cover versions of hits - except for one ..... Walk on By, the Burt Bacharach and Hal David number originally recorded by Dionne Warwick in 1964. Now I've heard some great versions, the Stranglers one is probably my favourite!

Not a bad thought for the day!

BHD if you want a drink in the morning tell me and I will add you to the list. I will need a trolley soon to push them around but I need to do something in hte morning.

We have 14C and a good sunny day with some clouds. I hope tomorrow is good as my testing is now confirmed for Wednesday.

Yes H, I can get to the nest as its saved as a favourite but when I try to change threads my ISP says that not 606 is unavailable. Very strange.

 

it is...it comes and goes, sometimes it's working fine and then suddenly it slows right down...

 

Maybe some maintenance going on !

 

I had issues earlier, thought it was just me.

 

No probs this end !

 

It seems to have sorted it self out
