I can understand Josh getting a trial but Mark? I thought his time as a player was over when he left Gillingham? Why would Dario Gradi, a expert at youth devlopment, offer Big Mac a trial? Good luck to him in the future, I personally quite liked McCammon but apparently he was a real problem off the field.
Anyway good luck to these two hope they both get contracts!

im pretty sure the first 4 or 5 games he played for us up to with jacko i personally thought he looked very good, won a lot of balls in the air, held the ball up well etc. to me it just looked like he needed a little bit of time to form a partnership with jacko. maybe i was dreaming or it went very downhill after that, injuries etc took their toll and lets be honest he was never gonna displace akinfenwa and mcdonald last year. as for off the field i dont know but good luck to him, he took a lot of gills money for not a lot but ot every signing is going to be a success.

as for gowling, good luck to him. if he can find some consistancy he could be a good player at this level, however with a fit king and with richards and lawrence ahead of him in the pecking order plus the 2 youngsters coming through all before we signed frampton it was right for him to move on

I must admit it would be funny to see the look on Crewe fan's faces when Dario comes out and says, 'Yes Donaldson may be gone but don't worry, we got McCammon!'

i notice that jerk mccammon just won't push off! he has now contacted the football league...as to let them deal with contract issue's he had with scally and gillingham when he was here, and that things could not be helped on his behalf due to injury!

how he can even think to try and get more money out of gillingham fc is behond me...what a parasite this excuss for a footballer really is!!!!<yikes>
