Even better. Are you moving yourself or paying a removal company? Done the former plenty of times over the years, but never again.
This will be our 4th move (and final) done them all myself, I don't think the finances will stretch to a company so it'll be myself and friends doing it. The part ex was good got the value for my property and knocked loads off the property we bought, I did barter hard.
Nice one mate, I hope you and yours enjoy it. I've never bought a brand new house, but imagine it's great arriving and not having to clean and scrub the place for days on end. And no endless lists of DIY jobs and re-decorating.
I am DIY inept which is one of our reasons for this, sick of paying for home improvements. I'm still banging on at them trying to get extras got flooring and turf which wasn't inculded, in negotiations over proper fencing and swaping the cooker at the moment, thay must think me a cheeky ****er at this point.
I can do the DIY but don't particularly like to lol Be as cheeky as you can pal, never going to see them again. Working for a charity, cheeky is on my nature now
We bought a new house, and had to get everything decorated. Problem was, we ended up having to get everything done in four weeks (underfloor heating put in, all the walls, flooring, kitchen, bathroom tiles and fixtures etc.), which was a bit quicker than we liked. So while the bathrooms and kitchen are set, most of the walls etc were done white and then we're slowly getting round to doing the rooms properly. Added to that with the kids coming etc. the room plans keep changing a bit as well. But it was at least pretty clean when we got it. I've moved eight times in my life (not including moving in and out of uni accomodation), and I hate it. Not planning on moving the next couple of decades now we've manged to buy a place over here. Love helping out at other people's moves though.
He'll need it back for when he has one of his falls, at a certain age you stop "falling over" and you start "having a fall".
