actually thought the ending although very dramatic was a bit silly in the decisions that were made... But can understand why it's been done so that it leads into a new series rather than just ending

If Eddie killed himself stopping the Thawne family developing and therefore no reverse flash then Barry's mum was never killed. If Barry's mum wasn't killed them Barry doesn't become the Flash (at that time at least) and everything we watched doesn't happen, including Eddie killing himself!!!
