Brendan Rodgers is under pressure as Liverpool boss, and one man who said he would love to have a crack at managing at Anfield is former player Harry Kewell.
The Australian is taking his coaching badges and admits that he is aiming high in his managerial career.
However, Kewell also accepts that he has some way to go before he would be considered for a Premier League job.
He told Fox Sports Australia, as per the Daily Mail:
[I would] love to [coach Liverpool]. I'm sure every player and every manager out there would love to manage probably the biggest club in the world.
I'm no different; it's a great club but you have to be worthy of it. But football and coaching are chalk and cheese and you have to go back to square one and learn again.
    If there's a possibility of getting an A-League job, I don't know.
For me, I reach for the heights. I'd love to manage a Premiership team.

I have no problem with him wanting the job in the future. If he gets his qualifications, spends some time learning his trade with a experience manager, proves himself at a lower club, proves himself at a bigger club winning stuff, then why not?
He loves the club, always did, and has a genuine passion for the club something we are sorely lacking , unlike the fake passion Rodgers shows, who likes to tap into the history in order gain favour.

You really think so. I remember watching that CL final and the livpl fans around me calling him a fraud and a rat jumping ship when he thought the game was lost. Just the manner in which he came off didnt suggest someone who had a love or passion for the club but thats just my opinion.

Yeah, everyone remembers that. People were furious at him.

I think the problem is he's just one of those soft players who doesn't have a high pain tolerance, doesn't work especially hard, didn't really like getting stuck in and was delicate when it comes to injuries.

Always easier for a Park Ji-Sung/Kuyt type player to get shown respect rather than a Kewell/Nani type one.
