Yes I know that, but who's moaning ? I don't think any team moans about the extra games, but the evidence is that some of them perform worse in the league as a result. Take the Spuds for example, ****e in the Europey pot and ****e in the league after Spursday night games. Utd had a season out of Europe and managed to claw their way back into the top 4. Next season could benefit Liverpool by only having to concentrate on the league.
