Surprised he didn't ask him the following; 1) describe your weekend in 3 words 2) who was your first sporting crush 3) have you ever been hit in the bollocks by a piece of sporting equipment Wet as a wet lettuce steeped in a vat of lettuce juice and thown in the Humber.
What is to stop him just asking "Will the club think twice about Hull Tigers in the circumstances?" instead of just hinting at it, meekly, and allowing James to be very non-committal, but vague enough to supply some hope that it will end, especially since they want renewals? Just say it. Get it out the open. Sort it out.
All of the players were devastated apparently.... I'm surprised he didn't namecheck N'Doye and Hernandez on this point.
That interview didn't do anything to change my view of Mooney. It was good of him to point out that someone has to put flags on seats.
All the players are gutted. I watched it back on Sky this morning, maybe I was hoping we'd see a different set of results. When the camera goes over to our bench you see McGregor sitting there never moving a muscle for either of the offside goals or the Valdes saves. He seemed pretty calm about the whole thing.
Don't read too much into that, he is from North of the border, they all have emotional deficit syndrome.
That's a different reaction to his normal one when a camera is pointed at him in the stands. please log in to view this image
the only reason Junior is bothered is if his daddy gets the sack then his career is over - it's the biggest piss take in football history
I know they're not both of him, the BBC article about it had combined the two pics into one and I couldn't be arsed looking for another article with separate pics of McG and Ferguson to just post the one.
McGregor should really have appealed his ban from the Scottish FA then. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/internationals/7981287.stm
