So this person thinks that because they can get 50k+ crowds they can challenge higher up, of course they can, all they need to do is win games <doh>

He's recently said to the press, again, that he "would not be looking to manage another 'mid table club" as he'd 'been there and done that'. Also he said he considers himself to be of 'super club' quality.

So that leaves him with Barcelona, Real Madrid, Beyern Munchen with maybe AC Milan and Juventus the dark horses from Italy. Paris SG are buying the mantle of 'Super Club' with their mega billionaire owner who has stated his investment into PSG will be unlimited. He, his consortium, is so rich he makes Chelsea and Man City owners look like a couple of fast food franchise managers. PSG could well be in the mix for ML and they have shown interest in him in the past.

In comparison in the UK Imo we only have one Super Club to match the stature of those above, Manchester Utd, (this is only my opinion Dai just in case your reading).

If he does come to UK then Imo Newcastle would be a decent option; its been a club waiting to happen for decades, the fan base is huge and they are desperate for any success and so is Mike Ashley. Laudrup would certainly be appreciated in North East and the climate would suit him too.

West Ham, they are crying out for him too after Big Sams' inevitable dismissal but I get the feeling there's trouble brewing there, it just feels like a club that's 'going off'. However MLs style fits their character like a glove.

    Liverpool? who knows?

West Ham are aiming for bigger things though. I'd imagine they would be a very attractive proposition for a manager.

It would be a good match up his style versus ours , I'd really be intrigued with the result of a Monk team against a Laudrup one .

    Me too FFS.

I think Monk has the advantage right now as he's more settled and is well into developing his style and building a squad to match. ML will have to start from scratch with inherited players as I don't think he'd be bringing a Spanish invasion with him this time. I'm sure his agent/manager would be desperate for that to happen though.

Thing is, if it is to be Newcastle or West Ham, neither are 'patient' clubs so ML will have to be firing from both hips straight away if he is to appease the zealous supporters each club has.

If Laudrup does come to UK, and if he can hack more than a year in one place, then imo, the season after next we'd see a better match up between us. All depends on where he goes though.

Are West Ham playing at the Olympic stadium next season?

If West Ham start poorly they'll be playing to a more than half empty stadium in no time

West Ham have qualified for the Europa League via the Fair Play route. Perhaps that challenge will entice Mr Laudrup to Upton Park.
