Tuttosport in Italy are reporting that there are a host of Serie A and B clubs wanting to sign Hernandez.
Good, he's been a big disappointment. Hopefully we get some serious money back for him (and good riddance...)
I think Bruce has to go, that squad should have finished well clear of relegation, we were not brave enough in to many games to attack before we defended the point you start with. If for instance Dyche was our manager we would definitely of finished well clear of trouble. I would like to see the squad kept together with a few tweeks, and then a forward/attacking thinking manager in charge, so when we get promoted, again its natural progression, rather than a whole lot of changes again. If Bruce stays then his brief should be to attack more.
Brentford have released some big German centre forward - think his name is Nick something - replacement for Hernandez?
Hernandez has plenty of punch, its just his feet are ****ing rubbish. Can someone post a clip of him getting his legs tangled up in front of goal (again) from Sunday?
My post was said tongue in cheek...Obviously i didn't put enough punch behind my words. It's a shame NOT ABLE did not make a fist of it in the previous games. The spikey haired twat.
Very poor decision by the club - who else do we have that can cover all of; LB, RB, RWB and LWB and do a good job in all of those positions?
Unbelievable! Our only true defensive right back, not to mention a player that hasn't had a paddy when he's been left out, which has been almost every game! A true pro and a player any club should be proud to have on their books. Good luck Rosie, you deserve better!
Either we're bringing someone else in, or we think Brian Lenihan is ready to make the step up. Really sad to see Rosie go.
Crap decision - we look at our strongest down the RH side when Rosie is behind Elmo IMHO. Best wishes to Rosie for his future and thanks for everything you have given to the club. A real pro on and off the pitch
I'd give contracts to those in the 1st team squad who are out of contract as they mostly performed well and gave their all - on reduced salaried of course - the rest I'd make stay and honour their contracts on reduced salaries as a punishment for taking us down - then maybe they'll perform to get us back up or rot in the development squad as nobody will want them!
I'm expecting McGregor (Rangers if they get promoted), Rosenior, McShane, Davies, Robertson or Brady (not both), Huddlestone, Livermore, Quinn, Jelavic, Hernandez, N'Doye to all leave for one reason or another, along with players like Figueroa and Sagbo who we won't really notice have left as they didn't feature anyway. That would leave us with: GK - Harper, Jako, Oxley LWB - Robertson or Brady CB - Dawson (pinch of salt, but lets take him at his word for now), Chester, Bruce, Maguire RWB - Elmo, Lenihan CM - Meyler, Diame, Snodgrass (at least until January for the last 2 as they'll need to prove fitness before an acceptable bid is made for them) WINGER - Ince CF - Aluko If you look at that, we'd need 7 in for depth to give us a 22 man squad and replace the 13+ that I've got leaving. But the starting lineup you can get from that is a lot stronger than the one we had last time we were promoted (even where it's the same players they've got more experience now). With the exception of Chester I can't see any of the players I've kept receiving a better offer than staying here (Robertson and Brady both will, but I'm saying we'll only let one of the 2 leave this summer)
In fact, here's a thought. From my post, staying XI vs Going XI. Even shoe horning the staying players into a 433 to match up with the leavers directly there's not many where you'd pick the leaver ahead of the stayer.: Harper vs McGregor Lenihan vs Rosie Dawson vs Davies Chester vs McShane Brady vs Robertson* Ince vs Quinn Meyler vs Huddlestone Diame vs Livermore Elmo vs Hernandez Snodgrass vs Jelavic Aluko vs N'Doye *Don't know which will stay, just gone with Brady as I think Robertson would get us a bigger fee so he's more likely to be sold if we're picking one or the other.
I suspect we'll get good offers for both of them. Brady has been looking good in highlights recently with crosses and free kicks, and Robertson is young with potential.
Is this a Bruce decision or the Allams. Either way it stinks. So the true players who care get kicked out. Is this the same game and football team I fell in love with 50 years ago. The game is f**ked. The owners of Hull City are well and truly fu**ing wonderful.
