I've emailed Flash. He'll probably be cool to do it (easier than Tiss, but if he can't I'll ask MLT).

It was immensely satisfying to watch wasn't it. Really good episode overall. Also the uhhhh..acting of one of the sand snakes has really improved in my eyes

Just managed to watch Episode 7. Yes, I see what you mean about the sand snake... And Cersei's comeuppance was very gratifying wasn't it? Best episode yet I'd say, building nicely towards the end of the season.

Finally watched the end of episode one of Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell and it is decidedly odd, but quirkily watchable. It's extremely well done too, and they appear to have thrown a fair bit of money at it.
Annoyingly, there seemed to be a bit of the Jamaica Inn mumbling creeping back in. I turned the sound up, and then finally decided to wear my hi-fi headphones to sort it. It's all very well the production team thinking that it's clear enough, but when you know the script that's half of the recognition taken care of. I suppose the trouble I went to is an indicator that the series has grabbed me a bit. Think I'll save episode two until another night.
What with all this GOT exchange going on I might just have enough patience and attention span to see if episode three can finally make some impression on me [nope, changed my mind, not tonight]. If it doesn't do anything after this I'm giving it up, ok.? After all, there's Breaking Bad to have a go at too.

Let us hope we can see even more fine acting from her in weeks to come.

Happy to see more of Lady Olenna too. Diana Rigg absolutely steals the show in every scene shes in.

Also great to see ghost again. I fear most of the cgi goes towrards the dragons so the direwolves seem like an afterthought.

You have to be a certain age for GOT. I'm not knocking it as it is obviously a popular and gripping drama and I am certain I would have watched 40 years ago.

You mean I'm not the only one Fran? I was beginning to feel lonely in the "I just don't feel any pull towards GOT" club.

Chilco is indeed one of us radical youngsters...when we aren't watching game of thrones while skateboarding we often hang out together outside movie theaters, listening to the rap music and hassling shopkeeps
