As well as Norwich winning the play off final there has been some movement of a different kind.

    Carlo Ancelotti - Real Madrid
    Steve McClaren - Derby County
    Nigel Clough - Sheffield United

    24 May
    Sam Allardyce - West Ham

So the merry-go-round starts in earnest

My money would be on the NU guy, Bruce or Brenda being fired next.

True but they will need a 'big' name to even get some players even to think about Loserpool . I don't think Klopp would want the amount of problems that come with that job .

I think that thought could be the reason that Yaya Toure is now apparently staying there .

Apparently Ancelloti is going nowhere for a year due to health issues and the need for an operation

Will they risk their career on Liverpool is the question, Brendan wasted over 100m paying silly money for players clearly over priced, joe for one giving us £15m.<laugh>

Before they can sack Brendan they will have to see who is interested in the job and they whoever would want a lot of money to buy quality players to replace the obvious sub standard with the majority of their squad that can challenge for the title and champions league. They are at a crossroads now as they really cant trust Brendan with yet another £100m+ to buy more flops especially when they will have to give them sizable contracts...Brendan is good enough to keep Liverpool in the top ten but that is not what they want in reality they want the premiership title something they have never won......It is a bit of a problem there for the Liverpool owners.

    Dai,

Don't forget that Michael Laudrup is available in a months time; after his current contract expires. The thing is, do you think Liverpool should wait that long. If they do then they run the risk of losing him to Real Madrid or another super club.

What you think Dai? Should Liverpool risk it or should they take the Bull by the balls and go get him?

If not Michael Laudrup Dai, then who'd you want and, who'd you think will get the job.

If Rodgers goes it could all get messy with Newcastle, probably, and West Ham looking too.

Personally, I think they should keep him because there is no one else available out there A) Who are better than he is and B) Who would want to risk the poison chalice. Managing the clubs expectations is as demanding a job as managing the club itself and if they are not met, and met with style, then who ever took the job would just be a dead manager walking.

So if we realistically remove Ancelloti and Klipity Klopp (thanks to the originator, sorry, I forgot who it was) as candidates, just who else is there? Big Sam?
