Think Brucey may be on the phone to Mr Fryatt soon... think we'd have been a few goals better off if he had stayed, and would do a cracking job in the Championship next year given the playing time. Daft prediction here - I reckon Danny Graham could be a punt next year. Seems to be getting back to a decent standard with the Mackems, and previously in the Championship has proven a deadly marksman.
It's not daft, it's ****ing mental. He's scored one goal for Sunderland and that was an accident. I wouldn't want him if he offered to play for free, offered me free use of his missus and offered to buy me six pints at every home game next season.
Elmo staying? @Elmo_27: Thanks to everyone especially the fans who've been very supportive all season. We will come back stronger!
New Gk Rosenior - Dawson - Mcshane - New LB Diame - Quinn Snodgrass - Aluko - Ince New ST Plus Mcshane, Bruce, Maguire, Meyler For me we have to keep hold of Ince. Has proven enough times he can score in the Championship and if played correctly he would get at least 10 goals for us from the wing. I imagine we'll get decent fees for Robertson, Brady, Chester, Huddlestone, N'Doye & Elmo. Jela and Hernandez will probably go on loan with options to buy and we need to get rid of the dross like Sagbo, Figgy etc. If we keep enough of the players together we'll definitely finish top end of the Championship.
In summary - nearly 24 hours later: Robertson, Snodgrass, Elmo and Steve Bruce all said "we'll come back stronger!" Chester and Dawson said they're up for the fight of getting back up. Jelavic, N'Doye and Hernandez all want to leave. McShane is out of contract and wasn't offered one.
Why hasn't he? He's still under contract so y hasnt he, is it because he spoke out about no been offered a new one
He's another member of the squad who if stays - could be a vital member to our promotion push next year, IF he rediscovers 2013/14 form!
