The difference on the performance yesterday and Burnley is simply about your perception of the opposition. We were expected to beat Burnley because we had "superior" players but couldn't get the ball in the net. However on the day we were playing them, their team were in the same position as yesterday (i.e. relegated if they didn't win). In that match, we still had other chances to get points/other teams to **** up. We were not expected to beat Man Utd yesterday because they had "superior" players. Truth be known, Man Utd were just going through the motions yesterday with nothing to play for and despite substituting their most expensive player, playing with their second choice goalie, and going down to 10 men, we still couldn't get the ball in the net. Hence the comparison.
Yeah seems it was a false claim of an equaliser - it really got the players going. You saw them look around and react to it before nearly scoring themselves from said corner.
My perception is based on the fact that I saw us play well yesterday and I saw us play badly against Burnley. Nothing you post is worth reading, literally nothing.
