He won't last at this level unless he starts scoring more though. No team can carry a striker that only scores 4 goals in 33 games.

And I really don't understand what Hodgson sees in him, but being selected in the England's squad isn't his fault. So he shouldn't be included in the worst XI team just because there's more of a focus on his goalscoring record and performances.

He scored 4 in his first season in the championship and really struggled. He was actually close to quitting. Last season he adjusted and scored 16 and was superb so now he has had a year in the Prem more goals should flow next season. He has proved he is good enough he just need abit more composure in front of goal.

He has 8 assists and 4 goals which isn't too bad going for him when has hasnt started every week

I can't believe Sylvain Distin or Tim Howard haven't been mentioned. Or Rio Ferdinand.

I mentioned Howard. He's been ****ing abysmal, just as I called at the start of the season

I searched for a similar quote but it turns out you've never actually backed Everton

Hmmm. Tough one as do you pick players who have had a few bad games and never played again ir just consistently bad players. Whereas shaw has been a major 30m flop he hasnt actually been bad to the effect that hes been costing united goals. Someone like paulinho who is **** anyway (from last year) so never plays for spurs except as a sub hasnt really underachieved since we all knows hes ****.

Here's my list of most shocking premiership pros who play regularly and have been poor this year

Allan mcgregor such a clown
Simpson Lovren williamson konchesky
Huddlestone cabella barkley
Balotelli rivierre soldado

My overrated 11. Players people think are good but i think are rubbish or have been **** this year but is a big name

Schezny
Johnson (i know pool fans think hes crap but loads of other fans dont) kompany vertonghen shaw
Barkley oscar di maria mirallas (screwed me bad in ff) lallana
Falcao

Swap Di Maria (done more than any Liverpool player this year by a distance) for Sterling and Shaw for Moreno (truly awful player) and you're on to a winner (or loser as is more apt.) <whistle>

Apart from Sterling has scored more goals.. & has more assists, completed more dribbles then yeah <whistle>

And Moreno has been pants.. but he cost a fraction of Shaw and has managed to stay fit for more than 5 minutes <ok>

Shaw has been injured far too much but he's never had a bad game when fit. Too many OK games and only a handful of good games, most notably Chelsea away, but no bad games. No chance he should be in a worst XI, particularly if Moreno's awfulness is overlooked because he's managed to stay fit (to be awful). Mantequilla's got to be worth a shout. So **** that Del Boy Brent had to play Can as a right back/right sided centre half and wouldn't even pick him ahead of Johnson when Can was unavailable. Terrible player.

More assists eh? Probably want to go check that one. Unless Sterlings changed his name to Fabregas?

Balotelli, Lovren, Shaw, Di Maria, Falcao, Cuadrado, and Mangala are all 100% in this dogshit side of the season.

Vardy <laugh>

You clearly haven't watched him much have you? Might not have scored many but he brings a lot of goals to the team and causes countless problems for opposition defenders with his pace and work rate.

Look I can see why a fan would like him but he's a pretty god awful footballer. Couldn't finish his dinner.

If you stay in this league another season or two he'll be gone.

Wes Morgan was also very close <ok>

Mangala is a decent shout. Thought about Fernando.

Shaw has been injured a lot so a bit unfair.

Howard and Rio good shouts.

Di maria has disappointed by his standards but not enough to be in a worst XI IMO.

EDIT: How ****e Hull have been has sort of gone without much fuss this year... Looked good in the summer for them keeping Huddlestone, signings Gaston Ramirez and Ben Arfa for a bit. Diame too.

If it is really the worst players in the prem then it's the players in the relegation sides

Expectation v performance is what I'd base it on

You forgot Howard, Stones, Jagielka, Alcaraz, Baines, Barkley, Besic, Atsu, Kone, Lukaku, Valdes, Rafael, Shaw, Jones, Rojo, Smalling, McNair, Blackett, Di Maria, Januzaj, Falcao, van Persie <whistle>

Most have hardly played and Smalling has been great

Have just seen Squawka do this and thought it might be interesting + distract us from Sterling/this season still existing.

Don't care if they're flops or have just been plain awful... but they should be players who have been awful this season - not players who are just generally ****e.

I'd go for a 4-3-3:

----------------Lovren
Lovren-----Lovren (c)------Lovren-----Lovren
-----------Lovren-------Lovren
-----------------Lovren
---Lovren------Lovren-------Lovren

Well, actually...

--------------------Szczesny
Johnson------Lovren (c)------Williamson-----Konchesky
----------------------Barry
----------Larsson--------------McGeady
---------------------Ramirez
--------------Soldado----Riviere

Bench: Krul, Coloccini, Anita, Traore, Huddlestone, Cuadrado, Vardy

Manager: John Carver (sorry)

Seb Larsson? He's had a good season. Our POTY.

Seb Larsson? He's had a good season. Our POTY.

Really? Based his inclusion off when we played yous, handful times I saw Sunderland and he seemed more central... and didn't want to include Adam Johnson <laugh> Plus he's someone other fans know + has a bit of expectation.

There's got to be a Sunderland player in there cos of how awful you were... who would you suggest?
