There is a little thing called the new Sky deal which means Premiership clubs will have the most cash to buy big players.

Have you been in hiding this season

Hence why Uefa plan to relax rules to allow others to compete. That doesnt apply to english clubs who have an advantage.

    Agree with you for once.

It is, in part, one reason why Platini is relaxing FFP so English clubs can't dominate again.

Also Real and Barca will have their share of LA liga TV money reduced potentially too.

Platini hopes this will close the gap between Barca real United and the rest

In reality it will probably just benefit clubs like City who can start spending again like their noisy neighbours.

Win win for The best run club in England: Chelsea

We get new sky money and Roman can spend again too if need be.

But we are already the best under the new guide lines already

How much have you lost this season?
How much have UTD made this season?

You will find UTD have made a profit and ChavBus have made a loss

    <laugh>.

Brilliant that you know nothing about your club and desperately looked that up after your post.

Waiting for information about our massive loss.

Enjoy watching our bus today image.jpg

Your 60000 fans lining the streets will be impressive. No doubt.

The celebrations yesterday were incredibly dull for a side who had just won a title. Even City tried harder.

Will the club be providing plastic flags and instructions on when to cheer? How much do you get paid to turn up?

FFP is so funny, PL 5bn in TV money. France 500m in TV money.

So you see why FFP will be relaxed? Platini's beloved French top flight cannot compete with the PL TV money. The only way French clubs can compete financially is by loosening FFP rules, otherwise the PL will have a big advantage over European counterparts.

In fact all the bemoaning in Engand about Spain's top two grabbing all of the money whilst ignoring a much bigger TV money disparity between the PL and other leagues is a bit hypocritical.

Never mind EC's hypocrisy in loving the investment of rich benefactors to get the club where it is then boasting you are FFP compliant after a decade of boasting success via huge losses from vast spending that dwarfed your fan base. <whistle>(yet you talk about Monaco) <whistle> Now Chelsea fans revel in the fact that other clubs are not allowed do what "Chelsea did to get where they are". <laugh>

2 things: Firstly, it's the FL's ffp rules, not the PL's, that we are interested in. And secondly, QPR posted a £9.8 million loss for the season in question, so therefore any fine (assuming their rules will still apply) can only be based on a net loss of £1.8 million. That's if they apply at all.

But you carry on pointing stuff out - it's good exercise for your brain...

Actually, writing off debts to shareholders as Exceptional Items is completely allowable under UK GAAP, which is why our accounts for 2013-14 were fine. Just because it doesn't fit with your worldview doesn't make me wrong. And pointing to someone's biased and factually incorrect blog does your stance no favours.

Quite simple, primary school stuff. So it might be a bit hard for you to concentrate.

    Suck it up...

If it is "completely fine" why is TF on his hands and knees begging the Football League to compromise on the fine. You are regulated by them not just GAAP.

If it was "completely allowable" they would not have been locked in discussions for weeks.

Hope this helps with your delusion.

Here is a dummy's guide which may make things easier for you to understand:

The talks are taking so long (note: talks, not 'hands and knees begging") because the FL understand they need to challenge our submitted accounts for that year before they can start on any fine imposition. They need our people there because they need information from us.

The FL clearly tried to impose a fine, the accountants told them they could not do that, and they are looking into what the position is. Add to that the UEFA announcements, they are clearly in a bit of a tenuous position in the FL, and don't know what's going to happen.

    So.... there you have it.
