The money goes to the other club.

Aren't we the only club in the Premier League to up our prices for the upcoming season?

We're also only one of 3 of those clubs to not actually be playing in the Premier league next season - so effectively paying mid - table Premier league prices in the Championship.

We're also one of the very few of those clubs to treat our own fans like ****.

Doesn't it just make you want to give Assem Allam your hard - earned cash?

With the money saved from the season pass. £570 will take a while to exhaust. Plus they may have gone to a lot of away matches this season. They save money on travelling to Rotherham, Leeds, Nottingham, etc. They are making a choice of how much of their money they give to Assem Allam.

The last part of my post is just that the last part. I'll wait until I get confirmation of its veracity as to whether its unnecessary or not. I did think about opening a new thread but decided against it as its only a rumour.

So in reality anyone who doesnt come to home games but just does aways is making a personal choice? So its just people choosing how to spend their leisure time/cash in the way they want?

I thought the club got 5% comission on away ticket sales?

34.2.3 For League Matches only, the Away Club shall be entitled to a commission representing 5 (five) per cent of the aggregate sales (exclusive of VAT) of tickets sold on behalf of the Home Club, unless otherwise agreed between the Clubs. The Away Club shall submit a VAT invoice, in respect of the commission due, to the Home Club within five working days of the date of the match taking place.

34.2.4 The Away Club may charge a booking fee or transaction charge to the customer providing this is exactly the same in every respect as that which it charges for tickets to its own home matches.

You used to talk sense about what a real supporter is when it came up on CI. I don't see plastics as a problem, we all attended our first match "plastic" or not. Some stayed and never left.

They are making a choice; they will not pay a single penny to Assem Allam. That's different from making a leisure choice. It reflects their total hatred of the man and what he's doing to our club.

Isn't that to cover the costs of administering the sales?

In the row that I sit in 5 are not renewing including me.

The oddest question I was asked when I said I was not renewing," oh what are you protesting about?".

For me it is more about how many games I miss.

All these plastics and protesters not renewing.

Looking forward to next season. Will be able to focus on the football and not be distracted by what so called "fans" are up to.

A true supporter (whatever the division, whatever the name).

I thought very long and very hard about renewing and in the end left it until the last minute and did it.

33 years of supporting for me. It wasn't the cost or even the owners that was making me dither, it was the thought of buying a pass for another season of PL bullshit - i hate it.

I was convinced after Burnley we were down and decided then that I would most likely renew for the Championship. So I'm £531 lighter in the pocket and wiĺl probably spunk another grand or so on away days, but the fun of that is worth it to me and the other 5 in my group who have aĺl renewed for much the same reasons - we have a good time on the road and go for the footbaĺl and a bit of a social.

I wonder if we were to get promoted again whether the decision to renew for a PL season would be easy knowing what it entails.

I feel ok with myself today.

I've never posted on CI Obi. Or anywhere else apart from here.

So where will all these loyal supporters be when we have a home game? Shopping in town with the mrs? Massaging the mother in laws feet? Weekly shop in Asda? <laugh>

kinell. If we have AA still in charge, Terry Dolan back as manager. Fatty Hesford in goal and Buckley up front I'd still be renewing.

I haven't renewed, and there are a whole bundle of reasons why I chose not to. It wasn't an easy decision and relegation actually made it harder. Others will choose to renew for their own reasons, I respect their choice.

It'll be hard, in the short time I'd had this new seat, I got to know some nice people around us. As the games are far less likely to be on TV, there's little point in going to the pubs around the ground, so I'll see even less of the faces I've shared a beer or a nod with, but I guess things change, and we move on.

It'll make the games I do choose to attend more special.

I hate plastics and glory supporting as much the next fan.

But if it wasn't for them we'd probably still scraping around in League 2.

The good thing is you'll have the time to change your mind, and still get a seat, hopefully.

I'd renew this minute if -

    1) The name change was dropped
    2) They priced it sensibly

Neither of those things will happen, it seems, so I am now out.

It's a shame because I was talking to the bloke next to me yesterday, and we were agreed on how much we still love it. We agreed on how **** it will be not to go anymore. But we also agreed that things have gone too far now, and the bigger picture of the hatred received from the owner, complicity with his bilious plans from fellow fans, and pricing, mean that a point of principle has to be made, and we walk away.

I look forward to returning when things are different.

I can see the home support next season being ****e and the away support being amazing (more so than this season).
