you lot flopped over the line. your total of 70points is about the average required to get 4th. last year you would have been 6th, the year before 6th, and it would only have been 2011/12 that your total would have got 4th primarally due to cheslea bieng 6th in table.

To be fair, this squad isn't that bad. It does need a few crucial additions but more importantly, it needs a manager who knows what they're doing.
There is no style to our play, no plan, no structure. Rodgers was too busy trying to build the system and force players into it. He failed to play to the strengths of the team.
Spurs too tho they were alful the season before too so they are showing the same form whereas we are tragic compared to the season before even minus Suarez, everyone else has been worse than the season before.

I agree that Top 4 was NEVER a "shoe in" and was not "sorted months ago" but that above is equally nonsense. We've remained 4th for most of the season and I could point to just as many easy games we could/should have won but didnt. We got 4th on merit not bcos of anyone else.
