hope that there never comes a day when you feel alienated by the bastards ruining your club and turning it into something totally alien to the ideals it and you have encompassed for the 25 years you've followed it through thick and thin.
The plastics were always going to leave when we went down, it wouldn't matter if it wasn't for the thousands of long staring fans leaving with them.
lol you got a new phone? Autocorrect is on top form with you! Wait, you could mean long staring fans, some barely seem to move. That description though would make for great baddies in a Dr Who. The fans just sit there and stare in front of them, heads only moving slowly left then back to the right before...tutting which makes your head EXPLODE!
No it was wasn't !! It probably was when 10/ 12 thousand were in for a ( big game ) but on a cold windy Tuesday night for a 0-0 vs Oxford/ Macclesfield / another, I front of a gate of typically around 5,124 the atmosphere was terrible/ totally non existent . Rose tinted glasses maybe?!?
Me and my friends have decided to mainly do aways next year. Not renewing our passes - sick of being treated like crap by our own club and then being asked to pay more for the privilege.
So you're going to show the club by buying their away tickets anyhow, and paying more for the travel? (NB: I am assuming the away team gets a share of the ticket sales, if that is not the case, OMFG LOOK! A GIANT LIZARD!!!) Either way, you will be spending more. I don't get the logic, or the justification either for that matter. You show them!
Exactly. Of that fabled 5000 what was the breakdown. How many sat in Best Stand seats?? The only good thing was you could stand with mates. The clappers worked a treat for atmosphere, loudest West has ever been. Hope the club does it for every game.
The away club get all the money from away supporters (may be slightly different if the home team spends some of the ASI money helping get to the match). The logic is that you watch your football team without giving a penny to Assem Allam. Before you ask, if the club remains Hull City we'll buy a pass in July, if not we'll find something else to do, most probably Hull United. Last count on season pass sales, according to CI, was over 10,000. It is rumoured Assem Allam wants to take sick pay off his staff and make them work unpaid overtime.
Some fat bloke sat very close to me said it cost £200k to get the clappers for the away fans. Wonderful gesture from the owners, if so.
According to the paperwork the trust has received from the FSF, as part of the Twenty's Plenty campaign, clubs do get a percentage of the revenue from the tickets they sell for away games.
Why not if it encourages them it creates more atmosphere and may make us create more. How will fans afford to go away without 2 quid off a ticket as Liverpool did in the PL?? Look at Championship prices, they arent that cheap. Though they are a lot closer on the whole. The last part of your post is unnnecessary
I'm pretty sure the former is illegal if they're permanent employees. The latter is fine, I imagine most people get unpaid overtime these days.
