Hopefully he'll take Dai with him. Hell Dai (Monk's hero) even credits Brenda with us winning the league cup under Laudrup. In his eyes, Brenda is that good, he won us the cup while managing you guys <laugh>

Frankly Laudrup would be a step up in name recognition . Nobody wants to play for Rodgers cause nobody has ever heard of him and his forays into Europe haven't much to help that.
At least everyone knows who Laudrup is. We might actually land some of our targets then.

Didn't see any of the game had a tennis match and then went training in the gym but followed it on BBC live updates

What an absolute ****ing limp dicked disgrace of a performance that was

I hope FSG have Rodgers in that office tomorrow or as soon as they can get a Lear jet into Liverpool to explain what the **** he thinks he's been doing for a whole season and I hope that those players responsible (will wait to watch highlights before criticising) who have cried off for pretty much a whole season as well get the verbal whooping they deserve and then the canon treatment away from this club as quickly and as powder keg happy as possible because they are rotting it, rotting it from the inside out. I think I'm done with Rodgers too. Was prepared to say let him have another crack for one season before the last two performances but the pathetically abject passive nature of these defeats makes me question his leadership and authority. He's getting walked over here by all and sundry, letting a jumped up 19 year old run wild, letting journey men 29-30 year olds like Johnson have their way in the team. It's not right and if FSG let him go it would be entirely justified at this point. He's a gob, basically, a gob who just flashes a smile, pays lip service and who got so incredibly lucky last season, as I've said before, with things just coming together with the players and Suarez. He had nothing, absolutely nothing to do with that and I doubt he's got even a fragment of the footballing imagination required to get a team to play as well as that under his own direction. Let's remember this is the man who has thought Aspas, Lambert, Balotelli, Allen, Cissokho, Alberto, Borini, Moses, Lallana, Toure, Sahin, Lovren (alright nobody could have predicted how bad that would turn out), Ilori, Assaidi were the solution to the problem and would be enough to challenge. It's shocking, unbelievably shocking, a list of non-entity and disaster. The only issue is who do you bring in who's better, we're not an attractive club to the best managers that's the truth of it. The only reason someone like Klopp would take it on would be for the challenge and who the **** wants that looking at the state of us??

BR looked weak putting Sterling in the squad (although could be a ploy tokeephis price up??)

I agree wi9th a lotof this butnot us being an unattractive club

We're, someone can come in and become a legend if they can get it right. There are, on paper, better option managers for us. Its always risky of course butI dont think, even after anothersummer, we'll win anything with BR. We have no fight in us which is unacceptable

The team itself made no sense at all either and the result shows the players had no fight in them and thought they couldn't score.

should have started with lambert. end of. at 2-0 down lucas should have been off. he was god awful... as was allen.

Its like this.... no matter how long we give him it will only ever end one way, as my signature says. IF we give him 100mil this summer he will only buy dross.

Appoint a new manager and coaching team ASAP.. as you said stoke simply outfought us.. really simple.

draw up a short list and a 10mil a year contract.

the only way to turn this aorund is to make this job the highest paid in the prem... mourinho is on 8.5 mil. rodgers is only on 3.25mil

I'm serious... give it in ****ing performance realted if you must but put the package together to deliver. ONly hire of the short list of very best though... do not ****ing hire some numpty.

I think BR is on really thin ice now. After the Man u and Arsenal defeats he still had my support,we had just gone three months
unbeaten in the prem afterall. When we lost those two important games it just felt like we had run out of steam a little which can happen.
But the nature of the performances and results over the last 6 or so games is worrying. As others have suggested, there is no fight in the
team, the desire to work for each other has evaporated. At a time when we still had targets to play for, including an FA cup semi final, the
performances just weren't there. Something is wrong, has BR been told something,do the players know something?

If FSG have been sitting on the fence recently just to see where the last month or so took us,I think BR is ****ed

That's the worry. The first Man Utd game basically started our season, the second ended it. The lack of fight and spirit has been shocking, even when there was still the FA Cup to play for. And as Utd's results have shown, we could still have got fourth if we'd gone on a run rather than losing to the likes of Hull, Palace and Stoke. The lack of response from the players is damning for them, but could be terminal for Rodgers. His next meeting with FSG should be interesting. It's going to be hard to defend the performances at critical parts of the season.

This is the important part now, gotta get rid of Rodgers now and get the new guy in ideally before the window opens or at the very least in the first couple of weeks.
Can't have another summer of dilly dallying in the transfer market waiting for the new manager to decide what needs fixing and ending up having to take a random punt on a Balotelli.

Seriously chill guys - clearly Brandan has studied under Jose, and todays performance has deflected the press from the whole sterling shambles :) #genius.
There could be a danger of over reacting, in our heads we probably had nothing to play for (though that should be where Brendan steps in), so we have been feeling sorry for ourselves since utd and arse defeats.
This year will have been difficult, Tbf Rodgers has had a lot of **** to deal with, Carra leaving, Suarez-pretty much everything around him, Gerrard Leaving, Sterling acting up, Sturridge feigning injury? We have had a lot of injuries. Yes i know he is supposed to manage it but it has been a rough few years, why not lets see if he has learnt anything? Which other LFC manager has had that kind of stuff going on?

Problem is, the performances is over the last couple of months would suggest that maybe the players aren't behind the manager anymore and once tou get to that point there are only 2 options..

    Get rid of manager
    Or
Get rid of players that aren't interested.

Unfortunately the first is easier & far cheaper.

That is the problem. If he has lost the dressing room (at least those players that are staying), then there's little hope for Rodgers.

Same thing happened with Moyes at our place. I honestly think he would have had a much better chance this year without Evra and Rio.

QPR would have had a better season without Rio...
