He works the channels very well too and makes chances for others. Was hoping he would be like Didier in his first season for us... 15 goals and make some for Hazard etc, but he is better than we all thought.
Haven't read through this but one thing springs to mind and that is the fact that Jose did well to sell him at that price but ****ed up last season as I think you would have come close or maybe even won the league with him in your team.
Costa is the complete centre forward. Forget all your other stars, he's the one I'm looking forward to seeing on Saturday. Not only a great goal scorer, but a physical beast who looks for confrontation in the process. I'm looking forward to seeing him in battle with our centre halves, but hope he returns to London battered and goal less....we can all dream
He is a beast. Could eclipse Didier for us, though drog was the ultimate big game player. 17 goals already and does not take pens like DD
Jose got a lot of stick for 'selling young talent' like Lukaku and buying a complete player in Costa. Lukaku probably has more natural abililty than Costa, but does he have his drive and determination?
Lukaku asked to leave. He wanted guaranteed play time and Mourinho couldnt give it him, so he asked to be sold. Jose wasnt the one to make the decision, he told Lukaku to stay and fight for his place, unfortunately he was not prepared to do that.
