I don't think there's many who now want him in charge.

FSG dont **** about with sentiment (as well as Kenny they also sacked a legend for their baseball team as well), I'll be suprised if BR remains our manager. 2 spankings in as many weeks

BR: "If the owners want me to go, I go. it is as simple as that. But i still feel I have a lot to offer here."

Rodgers has so much to offer the game. You would be mad to get rid. Hes probably the best manager in Liverpool.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers: "I have always said if the owners want me to go I will go. But I still feel I have a lot of offer here. There is a lot that's happened there this year that has made the job tough.
"Performances like today don't help me and I'm fully aware of that."

Interesting... happy to write off his contract for minimal compensation fee?

I like Rodgers, but just cannot see how he can stay now. Last season was amazing, some of the best football I've ever seen us play but ... £200m + spent on a inconsistent goalkeeper, defenders who can't defend, no real mid-fielders, wingers who are on the bench or stuffed at WB and a slow amassing of a group of strikers who'd struggle to get in to a championship. No real style of play, a team lacking leaders, and a group of players who DON'T fit Rodgers style of play that HE signed. Overall it's been a shambles of a season, I do think in the three years we've been under him that we've made progress, we tasted CL and were a game or two away from the title, but it's just not enough progress and now we have another massive Summer in the pipeline. Then we'll continue banging on about "transition"..

Who's out there other than Klopp though (who I doubt we'll get)? Even our next manager is going to be a gamble..
