We don't seem to think about how to play as a team. You get the impression that somebody like Pullis makes a decision and then implements it. I get the impression that Bruce just says "get out there and do your best, lads".
Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Everyone where rightly excited by them signings. Sometimes signings just don't work out,
I posted this the other day. Quinn joined Championship club Hull City on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee on 31 August 2012. It was later revealed that Hull City would pay Sheffield United £2,000 per game for his first 50 games for City. Thats from Wiki so may be wrong. Edit, just realised you were on about his wages. Anyway an absolute bargain.
Are you sure about that? Irrespective of what people were saying at the time, with hindsight anyone can see it was shocking business.
hope yous bounce straight back lads ...rather have a cockney ( government aided club go that yous ) best of luck
Looking at the Championship table as one does.. There are an awful lot of goals scored by almost every team so surely we will score and SB can get the defence as before and onwards and upwards.
All this **** about "If only we'd played the way we did today against the likes of Burnley then we wouldn't be going down" We played the same today as we have all season. No ****ing creativity, no ****ing end product, with a defence wide open to counter attacks. All this "we were unlucky not to take one of those chances". Well we were equally lucky that Man U didn't take one of theirs. And yes I'm in a bad ****ing mood.
The Burnley result is the one result that killed is. Win that and Villa go down... However I have to agree that lumping balls in from out wide at every possible opportunity is a good Sunday League team's approach to scoring goals...
What utter bollocks. We got the ball in the net twice and Valdes made some fantastic saves, we were obviously much better yesterday.
vs. Burnley... vs. Man Utd Oh yes... stats don't mean anything do they? Like Points won, and goals scored.
