Next season we are starting with a brand new team headed by CR who has little past experience and the results he does have are nothing short of abysmal. Director of football has no proper experience. Two mates who will bugger off and leave us in a worse state than we were before
There will be many well formed teams with proper managers and we are going to get well and truly done over week in and week out.

Yeah but don't worry Sutfol because according to some of our clueless fans he needs 10 games to prove himself?

Okay lads...it is over now...we are on holiday.
We all know there needs to be a clear out, the players know it, we know it, the management know it

Todays match really didn't matter, and when we went one down...(to another mistake) we couldn't come back

Ramsey knows the extent of the problem, especially after today

It starts here....and no we won't bounce back. no we do not want to.

We need to build a team, a defence, that you have too prise apart with a crowbar, an attacking force and a new goalscorer
That will take time
Mid table mediocrity next season and I will be happy

What a horrendous thing to say. And a sure sign that Ramsey's low expectations are lowering the standards of this club.

He is lowering these standards in a cynical attempt to cover his own lack of ability. If he says survival is good enough and that idea is bought into the level he needs to achieve is lowered and his chance of staying in the club is extended but the club is worse off.

It also harms the club as it makes it more difficult for us to sign up and coming players.

I would sign Lugono off Swindon and Garner off of Preston but if I was them and the managers goal is survival I'd think why go there?!

Even with a high turnover of players our side will have a number of international footballers and players who have pre-dominantly played in the premier league.

By selling Austin and the likely cash off of Sterling we should be able to retain some players that would walk in to any other team in the league.

There is absolutely no reason why we wouldn't be able to put a better team together than Bournemouth this season

Today did matter. For pride and another million quid if we finished above Burnley. That would go a long way.

An absolutely useless manager. Conceded 11 goals in last 2 away games. He effectively relegated us in March when after a win in Sunderland we lost our next 5 games in a row!!

The problem is the manager

Good manager in, retain a spine of quality and add good championship and league one players and could piss what is a very easy league and only perceived as difficult because most sides are equally poor and there is little difference in quality as compared to the prem which has vast differences in quality

Not a grammar geek, in fact i make as many mistakes as most but i don't try to act like some 15 yr chav. when writing.
You are making yourself look more a plonker than you are calling me.
We are now 5-1 down to Leicester when the players needed to show a bit of pride for the travelling support and if you think that is acceptable than you really do need to understand the game but by your previous post you obviously don't even go.

I dnt go ? I went to the man city game and go to most home games , so I know how it feels to get a stonking , what was clear was just how technically crap we are , the players are just **** , keep changing manager all you like if the players are **** there s
Lay off Ramsey FFS. I take issue with this bunch of useless f****** waste of players. Can't wait for the clearout to begin. Burnley showed them up big time, AGAIN, today. That's how you play out the season, for your fans.
this is exactly my point !

Agree and already he has said we could drop down another division.
This is no time for inexperience or trying out some new youth policy. Ramsey will be eaten alive in the Championship and like always it will us fans that suffer due to stupidity. Seriously TF must be on some strong stuff to think CR is the answer.
Don't get me wrong i like Ramsey as a coach and he comes across articulate and thoughtful, however so does Alan Johnson MP but i wouldn't trust him to be our manager.
Don't all sit around like happy clappers, as PD says we have conceded 11 goals in 2 away games and that is simply not good enough. It's okay 'clearing the decks' but a when you have never bought a player (let alone a new team) it's a huge risk.

You can't just blame the players, if it was just the players you wouldn't need a manager! The manager/head coach role is to organise the team and get the best out of the players, Ramsey has failed spectacularly to do this, he's not even shown a sniff of being anywhere near good enough to have been given the job perminently. We are stuck with him for now so will just have to hope that he learns quickly, however with his comment about next seasons aim being to not go down I am left thinking that his ambition and self belief are so low that we are in for a rough ride!

If our stated aim for next season is not to go down, that's outrageous. How is that meant to attract and motivate players? Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.

Beth with the greatest of respect the result today; and last week, is indefensible on every level.

Genuine question time -

Exactly what has CR shown you so far that he is the manager our club needs?

Please enlighten me as I have witnessed 'Arry under another guise.

11 conceded in 2 games. In my book no manager deserves a 3 year contract on that basis.

Also bear in mind this is likely to be the most talented squad CR will manage at OUR club

I said it on Fings thread - CR, nice bloke, poor manager

Swiss Tony has an inverse midas touch at OUR club

At this stage I'll take Big Sam. Thats where we are at

And if 1500 Rangers turn up for a 'nothing game' at least play for them.
Sadly Chris Ramsey now reminds me of Terry Conner who took over from McCarthy at Wolves. (and that is not a race comment either). Nice bloke but looked like a rabbit in headlights.

That is outrageous. TF has to give that target to Les and Ramsey, and they got to give the same to the team they assemble. They got a huge job to rebuild and get us back to where we need to be. It can be done, the job starts now.

Ramsey has just been appointed as "Head Coach" if I'm not mistaken. I think he'll do well as that, but Les has shown nothing yet. I'd be happy to see a Manager with experience in building a decent team and can bring in the right players, come in for Les, with Ramsey heading the coaching.

Same thing with Norwich last season and John Carver with Newcastle this season, shocking appointments

'Head coach' is basically the same as manager, he just won't deal with transfers and those sort of things, we won't get another manager in to work along side Ramsey so why even float that idea? TF hasn't stated any target for next season, Ramsey has stated that he can see us going down again and his ambition if you can call it that is to stay in the Championship. Not good enough IMO, we will get enough money from player sales to build a decent squad and the minimum we should be aiming for is the playoffs, anything less is failure pure and simple!!

someone who talks sense.

Mclaren, Allardyce & Warburton available & Fernandes appoints a kiddy team "coach" ,a week before the season is over, to get the club out of the toughest league in the world. Have a day off Tone

Well he's had 15 games and lost 10 of them.He got 11 points from 15 games!!!!!!!!!!!Just 16 points from 15 games would have kept us up. Need your head checked if you truly believe that wasn't achievable

Kia, your maths are a bit rusty. According to you, 5 more points than what he got would've kept us up even though we finished 8 points off safety :emoticon-0101-sadsm
