Don't want to sound bitter, but Rosberg in no way deserves that. He was resoundly beaten. Dull race, farcical outcome down to a howlingly bad call.

Ah well. On to the Indy 500.

Hey, at least it doesn't mean Rosberg totally undeservedly is only the fourth person ever to win Monaco three times in a row, an achievement he in no way deserves. Did I mention he doesn't deserve it?

merc didn't just lose Lewis the win, they lost a 1-2 as well.

all sides will be upset with what happened, except for Rosbergs side.....

I think Hamilton was racing against Mercedes here. Last year the car was breaking down now the car is working and they are still finding ways to take away races from him? I wonder if that was some sort of deal with Bernie to keep interest in f1? Either that or as I said some months ago that Mercedes has one of The worst set of strategists. Braun would never have cocked up like that.

Mercedes may need to write a few IOUs to Hamilton for that!

    From Autosport:

14:06 Applause for Hamilton. "It was not the easiest of races," he says.

"We win and lose together," he reflects. "I'm sure we'll sit down afterwards and try and think of ways to improve."

Brundle won't let up. He's pushing Hamilton to say how he feels. What's on his mind?

    "To win the next one."

Hamilton should just hop into his car and head home..he doesn't live very far right? I don't think my 7 year old grandson would have made such a mistake.. But...was that a mistake? Or was that a deal? A few laps under the safety car to cool down things then 8 laps to the finish. Hamilton was still pulling out gaps with the tyres he had on so even if Ferrari had pitted there was no way they would have been able to overtake...so why did they pit Hamilton? I see a deal...

I think they thought they had time. The stop was a little slow though. The thing is, there was absolutely no need for it.

The guys was still pulling gaps..in fact he was sometimes a second faster than both Rosberg and vettel before the safety car. If there wasn't a safety car he would have beaten Rosberg by nearly 25 to 30 seconds. I am sure that would have been very crushing to the whole field and especially to F1... So.. Was there some deal in this for the sake of f1?

I doubt it.. just another display of Merc's inability to correctly judge a situation.

Hamilton held it together on the podium which is good, helps him long term with the bad feeling staying on Mercedes shoulders.

With all those experience head up there getting all that money? What's wrong with Toto, Lauda and company's? I know for sure Lauda will not be happy about that, I am not too sure of Toto. I sort of get the feeling that Toto leans more to Rosberg, but I can't believe this is a simple cock up, I think there is more in this. So..... I guess they wanted to give Hamilton a challenge..try overtaking two cars in eight laps on a track that is almost overtake on.
Mercedes would know now they owe Hamilton big time.
