You blamed the crowd trouble on "Australians" quite a few times. The certified nutter managing your team claimed celtc's first two pre season matches were sell outs due to the worldwide fanbase.

So who is telling porkies here? Dev or Lenny the Victim? I think both are talking ****e <ok>

I think it's you who's talking the ****e Frank. Was Lenny in charge of ticket sales? No. So the the only way he would think it was a sell out would be if someone (Probably the home teams) told him. If you have any evidence at all that the people arrsested were "Scots" and not Aussies feel free to show us it. You won't because there is no evidence.

I know what sydney is like. Do you honestly think people would fly across the globe to see their team only to get ejected for pitch invading?

That's exactly the point I have been making since Medro posted his first article on the subject. He seems to think it's 19,000 guys from the Gallowgate on a three week holiday.

Yes, Celtic FC are totally to blame. They should have taken a planeload of Rock Steady stewards to control the troublemakers.

Well what does it matter who the fans were then if no one was to blame?

It was a minor incident hardly worthy of note, that is backed up by the lack of coverage. Only the Scotsman saw fit to print.

There's more trouble on Sauchiehall St on a saturday night.

That was all the council, the Police and the TV repairman's fault.

the TV was switched off to avoid a crush. I was in piccadilly gardens. the amount of people in there was scary. They had to pull the plug.

Funny that the riot police were already waiting outside pic gardens in anticipation of a mass exodus at 8'clock? Hmmmm

This is correct, it was orders from the police to pull the plug. My friend was part of the media team in charge of screening, he does gigs all over the country doing similar stuff. I regularly rip into him about this, putting all the bother that night on his head.

Really? I wonder where they got that from, certainly not the rest of the european campaign that year which consisted of zero arrests.

    ----------------

Dev, wee Lenny stated both games were a sell out. He's a lying wee mong. Also, does crowd trouble only matter if it was by supporters of the same origin of their club? Does that mean all your Irish fans can do whatever they like? Might explain something <whistle>
