I know the debut was fairly low grade but he did it very nicely and three winners have come from the race, the yard rate him as very useful.

I don't normally worry where horses make their debuts. His form at Windsor reads well enough to be a player.

Anyways I thought you'd be all over the Bolger horse after Dawn Approach payed dividends for you a couple years back:biggrin:

I know Washington DC is very well thought off in house and Round Two beat him at ease. It has been the best performance by a 2 year old and it will take a good deal of improvement from something to beat him on what I've seen. Was taken by his debut but today he was breathtaking and still had plenty in reserve.

Caught the last 3 rounds...DeGale wins by the sound of the judges!

Fair bit of talent a usually on show alright. I suppose the day that's in it I should be waving flags around singing with a hairbrush in from the mirror after the success of the referendum for gay marriage here! Might have a pop over after this boxing result.

Yeah De Gale won, looked a close fight to me though.

I'm amazed Ireland went for the whole gay marriage thing, being such a religious country. I can't imagine Catholic Churches marrying a couple of blokes to be honest <laugh>

They can get married wherever sure, the only difference really is the marriage will now be recognised under law here where as civil partnerships were not. Live and let live sure once they ain't causing harm to anyone who are we to stop someone getting married just because some church oppresses it. Catholism is still the countries biggest religion but apart from the older generation not many are practising it after one to many scandals which is for another thread another day.

De Gale won yes. Well done to him. So he's the only winning Olympian and now World Champion from Britain?

117-109 don't know what fight that judge was watching, just about did enough for me thanks to that 10-7 round

Tough to lose that way. Bentley the Southend keeper always looked more likely to save the penalties though and it was a very cagey game with some contentious penalty decisions waved away for a shove and a handball. 1 either way. Hard to say the best team won. It's just that bit of luck when it goes to pk's.

Yeah I don't have a problem with gays, aslong as they're not doing it in public.

Yeah that judge that scored it 117-109 should be fired.

Lennox Lewis won gold at the Olympics for canada I believe so he doesn't count even though he represented us when he turned pro

Exactly Shergar, no need to be showing PDA for us to see.

Didn't know Lewis won for Canada. Good quiz question there.
