I don't think it was an attempt to improve the atmosphere. I've said all along, any atmosphere we've got is is in spite of rather than because of the evictions. I think the ulltras are a myth. The meetings were to try and make best of the cock up.
They should obviously have told people what they planned, but the FWG was only set up this season, the move had already taken place before it existed.
So what happens next season then With our attendances about to drop by at least 8,000 will they change the amount of away fans possible to maximise income ???
Ah OK then, I got my time line wrong I thought there were FWG meetings before the move but the move hadn't been mentioned at them.
Nick Thompson did try similar fan meetings, but they died before they ever got going, when he got hung out to dry over the name change.
Fan meetings can die whenever they want. (With acknowledgment to a well known AFC Football club owner.)
A difference over marketing!! Thats why you need a CV you could have shown them it and persuaded them not to.
Tsch, who needs 3,000 away fans? Big Bill should have been with us at Everton on a Wednesday night where 400 of us outsung 34,000 scousers for the entire second half.
Within two years the brand will be completely worthless, unfortunately it's what happens when you put an accountant in charge of a brand. That isn't a piss-take, it's exactly what happened.
I don't, why do you; is it to disguise the fact you're not as good as you would like to make out? Not too surprising to to honest.
For you to call my post petty is hilarious in the extreme after the manner and childish nature of the post you made, which I responded to, because you said we all do it - lie on a CV that is. By the way, it was a question, but I guess the answer is yes.
