That was last season. He's been appalling this season and lost his place by being a liability. Yes Bruce has played his inferior son at disgust to a lot of Hull fans, but not because Davies has lost his place as a result, but because they want a back four with CB partnership of Dawson and Chester. Not because they want calamity Davies in. Davies has even slipped behind Paul McShane in the pecking order. If you want Hull's 5th choice cb fair dos but you'll not convince me fella.

Coates was pure class against the Arse.
    Will Liverpool want to sell?

<laugh> He was decent first season but sadly has fallen out of love with the game and more in love with himself <steam>

Agree, he was not letting anything by, blocks, tackles, good usage of the ball. He & Seb were on a ridiculous level on Tuesday, committed as you will ever see. Confusing that they both had same boots on and when the balls were pinging about wasn't easy to see which one of them it was!

It was an incredible display from the lad, and he has openly, from his own mouth, said he'd be happy to sign, that as well is a big factor, he's not thinking 'step down fro Liverpool' he's seeing it as an opportunity.

Not sure why Santi is getting ****, yeah he's got his flaws but actually he has also put in some cracking shifts for us as well.

People are highlighting the video at the end, missing the 5 mins before when he WAS celebrating (Smug will have seen...).

He probs felt a bit out of it having not played, but for the tiny fee he will be a very useful squad player.

From what I understand, Ellis Short shares Dick Advocaat's thinking on summer spending. Mrs Dick is the bigger stumbling block #safc

    Chris Young tweeted that earlier

That to me says 6 £5m+ signings in summer...

I'd prefer 3 10m signings of genuine quality.

    As would I
However that means finding players available for that kind of money who want to move here
Other issue is the entire team needs filling out...
