Steve Harper apparently wants Newcastle to stay up. So I guess it's an own goal race between Harper and Smalling.
For a team to be 2-0 up and to lose 3-2 with a few minutes of extra time to go takes the whole team to collapse, anybody shortsighted enough to think McGregor cost us the FA Cup is a ****ing gomer.
So what if a player supports a certain team? Players don't support teams the same way we do, they don't play badly or let goals in cos it can help the team they support, they either play to win or play to win a large bet
Harper is a professional he won't throw a game. I would play McGregor simply because he's a better keeper, if erratic. It's time for him and the other big players to step up and be counted.
I don't seriously think he did at all - that was a late Friday night reactionary post when all I was thinking of was Arsenal's first from the free-kick.
The entire world outside Newcastle wants that. Even some Toonies want them to go down. Looking forward to watching there after match protests.
