National FA bans are supposed to be respected by all FIFA members so no he should not be able to play abroad
That's to bad if he could come here and serve the American ban before being eligible for selection he would be back pretty quick. Of course no one would pay 8 mill for Jake. American sports a first positive test is only a few weeks ban for most leagues, the mlb is the harshest (probably bc they are always testing positive) MLS is pretty harsh to. I converted them to weeks the bans are for a specific number of games. MLB - 10 weeks NBA - 1 week NFL - 4 weeks NHL - 4 weeks MLS - 9 to 10 weeks
Then I assume the whole thing is scrapped. Though I'm not aware of someone ever failing an A test, but passing a B one, so as GLP says, it seems like a completely pointless exercise.
It's not pointless. Whilst there is an option to get off with it, exhaust the options. It may be academic, but if you don't try then you haven't used your options. Who knows... Until you know! There is always a first time. There is nothing to lose and everything to gain. So it's sensible.
This sounds daft but they take the A and B sample together right? Maybe the B may be weaker cos you always have a few spits towards the end if he aimed right
I think the whole A and B thing is so the players can't claim that the bottles or samples had been tampered with, which would be stupid anyway considering the player chooses the bottle, if someone really wanted to set them up they'd have to rig every bottle anyway.
I think there's been a few cases where the player has chosen the wrong bottle. If they'd chosen the other they'd have passed. From memory, sample B was just under, so if the athlete had chosen that first, they'd have passed, but sample A was just over, so they got a ban. They're looking for trace amounts of markers, so there's some room for doubt in border line cases. What's interesting in this, is people are offering mitigation, rather than denial or pleas of innocence.
I hope his B sample saves him; if not then let process begin. Either way it is a desperately sorry mess and I do feel for the bloody fool, because that's what he guilty of, being a fool. Sad end to our season and his.
Probably because they know they are guilty and their advisors have their hands up their arse, in that 'glate of glutter' way.
Some right ****e from Merson, he thinks Livermore is our best player... http://www.dailystar.co.uk/columnis...ake-Livermore-help-make-sure-never-does-again
He had I believe an addiction to drugs and gambling. Now he has an addiction to being a cock and a **** pundit. The first two he had help with, the latter two he is beyond help!
