Great mate, as one player being sold and two being brought in had such a massive influence. What about all the other teams that have done exactly the same thing. We sold one player and it caused such catastrophic events?? Come on mate, stop clutching at straws. We would still be in the same position if we hadn't of sold him. The problem has been Jake and Tom. Look at last years stats and then look at this year's. They have been well off the mark and Brucey has not changed anything to improve this situation. I honestly believe Ramirez and Diame would have done a better job.
It's not cos we sold one player and bought another 2. It's cos we sold the best trainer at the club who puts 100% in every single day, is a consummate professional and carries himself with absolute integrity and therefore is a tremendous driver for the rest of the squad in keeping intensity levels up and replaced him with 2 people who couldnt give 2 ****s cos they knew they were here until may at the latest.
Selling the player of the season to the bottom team in the Premier league is hardly a bad piece of business.
I think there are a number of reasons our season turned to ****. Selling George Boyd was a huge error. Selling him for two fifths of **** all was also a much bigger error. I do think we would be better placed in the league if we had kept George Boyd. Who did we get instead Ben Arfa and Ramirez? One turned out to be a ****er, the other fairly anonymous.
Our squad is full of grafters and professionals - harps, Rosey, macca, bruce, chester, Brady, elmo, meyler, quinny, jelavic - to name a few. You're being ridiculous as usual.
Don't tell me they're doing another on-the-pitch ceremony like they did in 11/12. That was a shambles.
http://www.hullcityosc.com/events/player-of-the-season-awards-2/#more-2942 Player of The Season Awards Thursday, May 21st, 2015 Sunday 24th May Due to likely media commitments following Sunday’s fixture, the Player of the Season awards has unfortunately had to be postponed. It will be replaced by an evening for our members with the players and the manager at a date TBC in early July. Monies that have already been paid will be refunded and trophies already purchased can hopefully be officially presented at the event mentioned above. May we take this opportunity to wish Steve Bruce, his staff and players the very best of luck for Sunday and hope that the “gods are with us” and we do enough, with the help of Newcastle, to stay in the Barclays Premier League.
What media commitments ? It's been cancelled because the club has no bottle. They're already down. No belief.
