Palace are reporting this evening (20 May) that the match is almost a sell-out - so hopefully will be by Sunday. Congratulations to Garry Monk and his players - he & they did far better than many of us expected when the season kicked-off last August. Difficult to predict the outcome as both managers may decide to experiment. Swansea's record against Palace is Games lost: 4 Games drawn: 8 Games won 10 The corresponding fixture last season on Sunday 22 Sep 2013 at Selhurst Park (Attendance: 22,466) ended Crystal Palace 0 - 2.Swansea, with Michu and Dyer netting for the Swans. Nice one Taff! Nothing to play for here other than pride, can see some experimenting with younger players, would love to see that young up and coming LB given some time off the bench for us..................
Still think we can take a point from this. Will be a right battle though and if the youngsters do play will be interesting to see how they cope. My feeling is we will still play a strong side with 1 or 2 additions. Lets hope the ****er Pawson doesn't ruin the game, a very very poor PL referee.
A full house , and plenty of white on show ( free shirt with every ticket ,but thats another story ) , a hard game whoever Monk puts out, our strongest side would do well to get a win against a side who made Liverpool look slow , and unimaginative in their play .and I expect they'll be looking to finish their season with a win whereas nothing for us except bettering our already excellent points total .Monk will want to finish on a high ,whether he has the same commitment from the players we'll have to see but I'm looking forward to it all the same .
Yeh but that is a weekend of a life time. If I was able to go have to be on a big boat in the harbour surrounded by loose women and lots of alcohol. My level was watching Jalopy racing with my father in Fforestfach or Skewen years ago,
come up to Bonymaen corner of a Saturday night , plenty of street racing and free to spectators , just make sure you catch a bus
Time to give our fringe players a starting place to give them a taste and put them under pressure. I don't care if we win, lose or draw tbh.
Quite right. If they are not up to standard then maybe the fringe players should be on the fringes of the first team
Not sure what team Monk will select for Sunday but one thing I'm sure of is that Williams will play the full 90 minutes, to set a club record of playing every minute in the Premiership this season. Congratulations to him in advance.
I was going to say pop down to the 3rd mooring on the left after you walk past the swimming pool as I am having a not606 open evening tonight combined with a Eurovsion theme - old Albert (Prince) loves those Right now i have woken up - it is a difficult game to predict but I fancy us to give it a good go and will plump for a 2-2
