Especially as they went up 20% last summer too. I have a friend who has season tickets for her and her two boys, and is not totally sure she can afford them again this season!
Gomes hitting out at Spurs.. Does he have a point? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-signs-says-former-keeper-Heurelho-Gomes.html They do seem to buy a lot of players who end up doing very little...
Interesting to see a number of strikers picked from the "lesser" clubs for England - if Deeney does well next season maybe Roy will select him. Although in this case Kane is at the Under 21s Euros and Sturridge is injured.
Will all be academic according to the Torygraph. FIFA are threatening to kick us out of World cup 2018 if our supporters keep singing about the IRA and UEFA will surely follow suit. Given our next away match is in Dublin I think there is likely to be some form of action. Blatter and Platini would like nothing more than that.
Save the embarrassment - of course in reality FIFA would want us to be there because we bring them money through revenue. I suppose Russia's own issues with fans and the wider world are not a concern.
It's crazy really - though I have always worried that the FA's insistence on occupying the moral high ground was an accident waiting to happen. I had to laugh though - in the report the other day one of the songs highlighted as being political and extremist was around the time of the Scottish referendum and went "eff off Scotland - we're all voting yes". I'd have thought most Scots would either have chuckled or tutted about them being childish rather than complained about being offended!
Im not sure he is up to the job the writing was on the wall with derby from way back and he could not turn them around
I think we're completely different to the vast majority of English clubs when it comes to speculating over managers (or head cocahes BB )these days. There is probably no way we'll be bringing in one of the usual suspects. However, I don't want to be a killjoy so would say I don't want Mclaren near the club. Derby's collapse is one of the most ludicrous i can remember and i have no confidence at all taht he could keep us up. I am still very confident we won't have a new coach though - I don't for a minute believe Gomes would have signed a 3 year deal if he didn't have assurances about the future.
That and a link-that-I-can't-find now in which Deeney mentioned that he had all but signed & was on holidays in Spain, make me think the same.
