    Voters in the Republic of Ireland will go to the polls on Friday to decide whether to enshrine marriage equality in the constitution.

    Which way are our resident not606 Paddies gonna vote? My guess is yes to Gay marriage due to the fact most of them like a length up the exhaust hole. :grin:

    Why shouldn't gays and lesbians be allowed to marry? They are human beings just like the rest of us.

    Dunno. But I remember the bakery owners saying it offended their Christian beliefs so they refused to make it and got done for discrimination.

    And rightly so. The law of the land trumps personal beliefs. Otherwise some nutter could start a religion that believed rape and murder was ok.

    ....hmmmm, av just given myself an idea <laugh>

    A Christian cause celebre
    Evangelical Christians across the world have rallied to the cause of Ashers Bakery. They have sought to portray the case being taken against the family run firm as an example of aggressive anti-Christian secularism. The DUP – Northern Ireland’s largest political party – has seized upon the controversy and is attempting to introduce a conscience bill into the Northern Ireland Assembly allowing religious groups to refuse to do business with those whose lifestyles they strongly object to, such as the gay community.
