Bruce will stay since Allam's comments were practically unconditional support relegation or not, in fact Bruce has Allam eating out of his hand. Financially we won't combust so either Allam is trying to take the pressure off Bruce or he's clueless in football matters or both. Remarks like, we have a Top 10-12 squad without injuries just show that he considers it a mathematical or scientific exercise.
Mr hat be very careful what you see on this board, Johnson can sue you for that. He pleaded not guilty and has NOT been to crown court yet to be charged (Sunderland echo). Anyway that point we got at your place a few weeks ago kept us up hehe.
well done to sunderland they battled hard tonight at times rode there luck but hung on. Weve hit the bar 3 times in the last two games they have had two teams Everton and Arsenal who have hit the bar against them but that, s football I suppose. We should have been clear by now but didn't do well enouhh against the clubs aroind us.All the pronlems off the field haven't helped but Sunday is another day and either the torture will end or it will be a great day. Who knows go Sunday and back the lads and hopefully enjoy.
If we go down, hopefully all the decent away days against teams in Yorkshire, Lancs & East Mids will be saturday 3pms, rather than moved to midweek matches. A lot to choose from.
I dont mind a bit of gallows humour but **** me lads show some ****ing heart and bottle. We arent down yet so lets keep believing we can do it.
And only faced 8 on target from those 50, because we limit opponents to long shots and we defend with our lives when the ball comes into the box. Defending with heart. We've also got a world class keeper. 13 clean sheets this season. 13.
I think of the two teams who came up..the MK Dongers will be more of a threat.... Preston or Swindon might find the champ a hard task..In saying that I hope to God, City don't do a Wolves.... PS...I'll have what Chazz is having...
So you guys confident for Sunday, not like we have anything to play for and Id love it if Newcastle went down.
I'm pleased Sunderland have stayed up, always a good weekend for me when we play them away (unless its boxing day again). I think we'll beat Manchester United on Sunday and stay up. I can't see Newcastle United winning. So it comes down to us. If we don't give it all we've got then its nobodies fault but ours.
I need to see our starting eleven and probable formation before answering that. More to the point are you confident that LVG is feeling charitable?
If it was Fergie then maybe, but LVG want a top performance and so do we, so if you guys win Harper need to be MOTM.
Surely depends what they've been sniffing Sorry couldn't resist. Larsson was immense tonight. But the back 9 (as someone put it) were immense. We played much like Swansea did down there and had 4 very real chances second half. Just couldn't take them sadly (for us)
