April 10th has come and gone, deadline day, allegedly, for the " frozen" season ticket prices, and still no word of the new prices. Are they going to repeat last season's extension of the early-bird prices or not? I do not know, but I think we should be told.
Amazing to see Bobby snow nominated for the club hero award at the football league awards. Put a smile on my face on a Sunday evening.
Gomez missed out on the apprentice of the year award, to lewis cook of Leeds. Bobby snow also missed out on hero of the year. Congratulations to both for being nominated.
Under-18's play Forest at The Valley on Saturday at 11 am in the semi-final of the play-off for the national championship. Should be worth going along to give the lads a cheer and spot the stars of the future.
No worse than Jim Davidson I guess Reading the Youth thread just jogged my memory; how did Paul Hart end up as caretaker manager at Notts County recently? Didn't he leave us for Man City?
Must be the first team the team in 19th place is relegated before the team holding up the league. That's how the premiership looks now, with burnley down but QPR matametically not.
Saw Oliver Holt retweet this. Nothing new or groundbreaking - but according to it we haven't changed in value in the 18 months since RD has taken over.
The Oystons have decided that last season was such a success that they are going down the same route next. Blackpool now have 10 contracted players on their books and no manager. Experience says that nothing will change for the next few weeks, in order to save wages. Must be favourites for another relegation.
Apparently they've extended Nile Ranger's contract too! He's allegedly been AWOL since the New Year. Having so far seen the free transfers list to dat of most clubs, Peter Clarke and Jamie O'Hara wouldn't be the worst of squad players.
I'd take o'hara. Think he and cousins in the middle would be a balance of energy and creativity. I can't see him staying at blackpool if he gets another offer. The ranger debacle is odd to say the least. He's been trolling blackpool on social media for the best part of 2 weeks due to them retaining him.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tml?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490 This is a tough one, as I am perhaps biased from the one side of the story I've heard, but, it's funny how Rufus has gone under the radar of criticism for this. It will be interesting to see what verdict is reached, though I'm fairly certain it's not going to be a happy ending.
Lepoint was on the pitch with the gent players lifting the trophy and collecting a medal. Don't imagine many ex players have ever done that.
Are you referring to 'Diet of Worms'? because that was in 1521 which is a lot more than 17 years ago?
