    Just to add, Sterling has played U-21's and senior international games without a break and the same rule should apply to players of all clubs.

    Poch tried to get the same result with Kane with a similar excuse to Van Gaal, but Kane's been called up regardless.

    Don't think they can accuse Chelsea of buying success any more considering their policy of mega spending and their current pay structure.

    I predict a chart that nobody can dispute as nobody will know where the figures came from (Liverpool 4th most expensive squad <ok>)

    Any staff numbers? I would imagine Tesco have a higher wage bill than Spar because they employ lots more people <ok>

    <laugh>

    Its only a couple of weeks since Utd promised to pay their club employees the national minimum wage, but taking into account all of the OT stewards, turnstile operators, programme sellers, catering staff and ticket office staff's match day wages they wouldn't add up to even 10% of the clubs top earners daily wage.

    And all the executives, scouts, promotion people (worldwide), there are more employees at a club than those in the immediate eye <ok>

    Just saw that.. Not sure how I feel on it to be honest.

    It it shouldn't carry the same ban as a terrible tackle... But then had he hit the red would they have reduced to 1 game? No.. So why different that it's an opposition player?

    The ones I mentioned aren't salaried and would come under club expenses more than likely.

    Correct, so how many do you think are on payroll? I would imagine the owners earn a fair bit (they all have titles within the club).

    It's a good point I guess, what stops them 'contracting' all those employees to another 'company ' to avoid them going against the wider business' payroll.
