I don't think they claimed there was any proof. How could there be? They're taking it up with City. As I originally said on that thread, we'll find out whether it was City or Tottenham doing the lying in time, assuming they do co-operate. But based on track records, one is rather more likely to be dishonest than the other.

 

So they just made a wild allegation.

It's happened several times of late that some individuals go off half cocked with such allegations, but are less vocal when it turns out they were wrong.

It loses them credibility, as the villagers will only get their pitchforks out so many times for a false alarm before they ignore the cries of wolf.

 

They just tweeted what they experienced. I don't think they're under any obligation to provide academic references.

They didn't experience Hull City telling stewards to confiscate banners. They posted idle gossip as fact.

It's interesting that this idle gossip is all one way, yet the facts seem to get less talked about and the lies get justified.

I guess at least people know to take your comments as quite liable to be bullshit and lies.

 

Amber Nectars whole existence is posting observations from games. They're a fanzine. Their musings have never required proof before, and it's only that you're in an awkward mood that it's being demanded now.

90% of what is posted on here is opinions and observations rather than demonstrable facts. I don't think anyone would expect anything different.

 

Maybe the clue is in the title? 'Things we think we think'. It's not 'things that are facts'.

 

100% of what you posted was bollocks. I don't care if was someone else's tweet, YOU posted it then went on to cast snide bollocks at the club. You also insinuated I was lying.

You're right about one thing, nobody expects any difference from you or your fellow committee members.

On a forum for fans by fans, fans like you are lying to other fans then when called on it, rather than holding your hands up and apologising, you resort to incredibly insulting justification and carry on throwing snide remarks.

It's shameful.

 

This debate stems from a different thread where PLW despite not going to games made statements and threw insults around over something that was simply not true.

 

Now then HT, have you thought about turning PLT off and the back on again, you know, rebooting him? Or restoring him to a previous version of PLT that was less stroppy? PLT v1?
