Don't worry the governments new equalties minister voted twice against same sex marriage so equality may become more equal depending upon how equal you are lol
Bent ****s get on my tits. Why do they always feel the need to shout it from the roof tops, 'hey, look at me you lot, I'm a **** stabbing, brown hatter homo'?
My two gay mates are nothing like that but share your view on those who do venomously. Ones a Batty boy and the other a lezzer and they're both straight acting, they don't do pride and they don't do camp/butch. Chances are you spoken to many many many a straight acting gay person and been non the wiser. I guarantee it in fact.
Well yes, I quite understand but why do some of them do it? I mean, I don't feel the need to shout on about being straight do I? There's a couple of owld queens get in our local & they're canny blokes, if you didn't know, you'd just think they were mates. I sometimes have a game of dominoes with them.
It's like feminists or Sol Campbell init, the world has changed and they're now accepted as a voice, instead of enjoying their new found empowerment to live the normal life they've craved and fought for, they go to far. It's more to do with each individual as a person imo, as in they're a ****ing ****er who needs shut up and live their lives. I know a few camp lads too but more friends of friends, one is camp but wouldn't say boo to a goose let alone shout about it but the other is un-****ing-bearable. My sister is gay too, she's butch and does pride, doesn't shout about it but supports it like they're still some kind of unaccepted minority which simply isn't the case anymore. When they go on like that fella, don't see it as Gay's being ****ers, just see it as that gay being a ****er. That's how I go about it.
I agree this is a bit of a sledgehammer-nut story. I once went into a bar in Liège and ordered a beer. They told me they didn't serve alcohol. It then clicked with me that the place was run by, and full of, Muslims. These people were all smiling, friendly and perfectly fine with me. I said my goodbyes and simply went to another bar. On the other hand I don't have much sympathy with these Christian types. As far as I know (might be worng) this isn't a "Christian bakery", as in a bakery attached to some religious complex. It's a normal bakery on the high street. It's a bit rich to set up a business and then pick & choose which customers and what work to refuse depending on the owner's religious beliefs.
A bar that didn't sell alcohol? Are you sure you didn't walk in to a mosque? Or a restaurant? Or something? Basically anything other than a bar.
I disagree, it's his business he can serve or refuse who he wants. Even more so if it conflicts with his faith. Why should he have to compromise his own belief system to pander to someone else's? It's like saying he has no right to believe what he's believes but the gay man and the judge do. Remember, he didn't pick the customer, the customer picked him and he was willing to do them a cake, just not the message which conflicted with his beliefs. I presume you believe racism is wrong? If white person walked into your bakery and said 'I want a KKK Cake with hang the ****** on it' you'd tell him to piss off as it conflicts with your belief system which is your right, it's your shop. Even though in a true democracy that person has every right to hate black people, you have every right to think he's wrong. Simple case of your shop, your rules, don't like it, piss off and shop elsewhere.
I once went to a funeral near Chester-Le-Street. The guys son was on leave from the army & kitted out in dress uniform. Before the courtage came he went to the local shop for a packet of tabs. The Pakistani proprietor refused to serve the lad because of the uniform.
What's your stance on a Muslim working in M&S who flat out refuses to serve bacon to customers who have it in their trolley? That's an actually story from last year. I'd have taken the bacon out of the packet and rammed it down her throat before buttfucking the life out of the bitch with a foot long frankfurter but that's just me.
That's fine, I would hope the lad wouldn't want to hand his money over to the **** anyway after that. A bit of word of mouth and many others wouldn't either. This is what I mean by leave it to mortality. Word of mouth could ruin the **** without the need to consult a solicitor. I bet he didn't take him to court and called told him what he thought of him instead?
The difference here is that the bakery business refused to comply, its their choice, at least it should be. The bloke working at M&S is an employee, who should never had even applied for the job, or getting it, if his beliefs are that strong. Did the Muslim get the job with M&S knowing that he wouldn't sell bacon? Or did he drop that bombshell after he got the job? Either way...total madness!
He has every right to refuse to serve him if he so wishes. But how the ****er can have such hatred for this countries foreign policy and actions abroad but still happily make money by selling his ****e to the masses, most of whom would be 100% behind this soldier is so hypocritical it makes me feel sick. Bloke should be sent back to Pakistan, whether he was born here or not.
That's fine if they don't want to handle bacon, it's their belief system which prevents it. But they can't do their job adequately as a result so should be let go or transferred at least. Pretty simple. If you can't touch pork, don't go for a job where you have to touch it. It's not discriminating them because they can't touch it, it's letting them go because they can't do their job. If can't speak you don't go for a job as an MC. If the bacon is wrapped and they refuse then it has nothing to do with their belief system and more to do with them being ****ing idiots and should be sacked also. That's the way I see it anyway.
Big believer in handling things man to man instead of running to the coppers ect so I'd respect that, I wouldn't respect him if he cried to his brief.
M&S ended up in a hole, they've been known to be huge supporters of Israel over the years so had no choice but to publicly back the Muslim girl who refused to put the bacon through the checkout. That's their right as a retailer, to do as they see fit in individual circumstances. I stand by what I said though, she'd have eaten the full pack if she tried that **** with me.
