Fortunately got my tickets just now, and at least it's on the Norwich side even though I don't think I'll be in amongst the crowd (unless we get allocated additional tickets)

McNally has said on Twitter, about 3 times, that away season ticket holders were included as season ticket holder.

I think the system worked well in general, I would however have stopped selling memberships when the season ended. If you didn't have one by then your just buying your ticket for £20 extra.

I think that's the only error that has been made here to be fair, and I'm sure that the club will learn from that should we ever need play-offs again in the future (which hopefully we won't)

I don't think it's the only error - the fact that everyone will get an extra ticket is a big problem. It means that those with a ST or PM can simply buy a second ticket for anyone they like, without any limit on the second person having any match history. If that's the case, why aren't they just going on general sale?

I would have no issue with the system if they'd said that on Wednesday at 6pm the tickets will go on sale to those with previous match history of X games, then after another couple of days the remainder will go on general sale. I simply don't understand why ST or PM holders get this extra ticket. Great for them - might as well just buy it and put it on sale!

Appreciate I shouldn't complain too much as I have managed to get hold of tickets, but I would have much rather been right in the thick of it with proper fans

That's fair enogh Rob, I guess it is a bit of a strange way of going about things. I'm guessing the extra ticket that can be purchased will be nowhere near the inital one that was bought, so anyone taking their partner or kids won't be able to sit next to them.

I agree then, it has been a c0ck up!

Club has now released priority for next season and if you buy it now you have a chance to go to Wembley! All for only £20......

What does not make sense is those season ticket holders buying again at 6pm on weds will probably want to buy for friends or family, they will not have seats together and lucky even to be in the same tier. Massive own goal in my book

McNally said today that doing it that way pretty much minimises touting opportunities. If members and season ticket holders buy them all, presumably mainly for friends and family, it leaves very few to go to the 'highest bidder'. I see his point <ok>

Could be harder to get in there than Wembley. Been rammed everytime I've gone for a match.

How? I don't agree with him at all. You're allowing a group of people who have already bought tickets to arbitrarily buy one additional ticket each which could be for anyone, but are unlikely to be anywhere near your first ticket.

That seems to be positively encouraging ST holders to buy an additional ticket and sell it for a profit

I'd sell them at face value to mates or family and I guess most otheers would to- be quite hard to rip off a fellow fan that one knows- not the best method but it does contain some logic

Have to agree with Rob, just seems to me that would encourage a sale even if for a little profit and not ticket toute fees, realistically that person would have to find transport there, as so called friend is probably already arranged theirs and no hope of getting the same coach, find them for a drink at the ground and then not sit with them all game? Sorry to me that is not encouaging family and friends to make this day out to remember together.

I have 3 family members who have season tickets and have 3 tickets miles away from each other.
They cant take their kids and sit apart.

My mate the Middlesbrough fan has followed up getting me a ticket for the game at Carrow Road with the offer of a ticket at Wembley. Said I was Boro's lucky mascot the B**tard. Cannot bring myself to fork out £600 for a flight home to sit with him and his mates. Lesson learnt at the earlier game.

My mum, brother and aunt have season tickets at different parts of Carra Rud but have managed to get tickets for Wembley all next to each other.

I agree that most of the additional tickets will find their way to friends and family, I don't see a massive market with touting (pretty sure it's illegal online for sporting events anyway), though agree it's a bit rubbish that the tickets bought later today will be nowhere near those bought by the same people on Saturday.

As mentioned (on this thread?) earlier, initially, away season tickets didn't count and the club has had to make a u-turn on this. Too bloody right.
But look at the apparent fiasco that Middlesbrough have created by putting all theirs on general sale from the word go! <doh>
Can't vouch for the accuracy of this article, but....

I have had 2 season tickets for several years now, but because they are under 1 membership number, couldn't link them on Saturday, but spoke to a friend who was able to do just that,so they could all sit together. I had a look at how easy it was (you didn't need to be an IT geek to understand it) and would have preferred to have had a seat in the middle tier, but not unhappy with where I'm sitting!!!!

It's basically a £20 booking fee pretty cynical.
We could pretty much sell out the whole of Wembley so people would always miss out unfortunately.
