Yep got mine too today, after this season how could I say no - even though it's a bloody long way each game. Also to be fair one of my lads bought mine for me,well chuffed.
We have a Norwegian fan who travels to watch our home games. Vikings don't mind travelling of course.
Just bought a season ticket for next year... as a gift for my brother. It's weird, could never afford a season ticket previously, to be able to afford one I had to move to a place where I couldn't travel to matches.
It's an effort to get him out more. He's been struggling with depression for years now and survived a suicide attempt last month. His CBT says he needs to be around people more, I agree, but that's also easier said than done when you're miserable and hate yourself! Hopefully this will at least help him meet some people and be more social.
Good on you, James. Many of my countrymen cannot understand that I do not care in the slightest about hockey. It's because of this: http://screengrabber.deadspin.com/potential-double-ot-winning-goal-disallowed-for-being-t-1705717308 Gorgeous header into the corner and it's waved off. No justice.
Oh that's tough. Might sound daft, but get him on here. We won't know who he is and we're all suffering in one way or another and he'd soon feel part of a group.
Nah, he's got his own stuff, playing games with folks online and that kinda thing. I'm flying him out to Kuwait for Ramadan next month (it's actually a really fun time here, like a month-long food festival opening 6:30 everyday) to give mum a break as she's been through it having to keep an eye on him. We were never really close, but I've been talking to him a lot and it seems like last month was an exceptional low water mark and things may finally start to get better. I've just never known someone so lacking in confidence.
I have always felt that being the most intelligent animal on Earth is a mixed blessing for humans. We worry and over analyse everything. If a dog is warm and has just had dinner, he doesn't give tomorrow another thought....neither is he worried about promotion, what's happening on the other side of the world, or global warming. Be more dog...as the advert says.
