Your guess is as good as mine! http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015...-leeds-boss-lined-up-by-describing-re/page/1/ Massimo Cellino has gone as far to hint he has a replacement for Neil Redfearn in mind at LeedsUnited. Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino has admitted he has a replacement in waiting for Neil Redfearn at the club. Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, in the same explosive interview in which he labelled the current head coach a 'baby' and cast doubt over his ability, he revealed how far along he was with his coach search. He said: "I can’t say who...This new coach is angry – and he wants revenge. Just like me." The controversial Italian would not shed light on whether it was Gus Poyet, recently fired by Sunderland, who possibly fits his enigmatic description. Cellino's revelation is just that, confirming that he has been reaching out with a view to appoint a new boss, while currently deliberating the future of Redfearn. Redfearn is extremely popular, so much so that a poll on the Mirror's website showed 81 per cent of Leeds fans want him to be kept on as head coach. What's holding it up? It seems inevitable that Cellino will let Redfearn depart Leeds and appoint a new manager, but legal or contractual issues relating to the current boss, or his prospective new one could be reason for delay. He could also still be having second thoughts, or as unpredictable as he is, scouring the market for an even better coach to become available for the one he has lined up. To take a cynical view, he could even be waiting to tie down the club's most talented youngsters to extended deals before letting Redfearn go, fearful they could look to follow him out of the club.
My conversation with Cellino was supposed to be confidential. If the slack jawed eytie **** thinks I am taking over now he can **** right off. Unless he gives me £100k a week and a three year contract. I was happy to do it for £10 pw on a match by match basis until he fecking blabbed.
Me too, I think it has more to do with fans like myself unhappy with the undermining, it might include wanting him to stay at the club in another capacity?
I couldnt believe the chanting of redfearns name at the last home game. FFS we had just watched 23 servings of complete ****e at ER and these idiots are supporting the guy who only has two jobs. To get the team to put some effort in and to win a decent number of games. Redfearn has failed spectacularly on his two KPIs.
Thats the only thing I can think of. But its clear he doesn't have what it takes to be running the first team imo. If its wanting him to stay at the club in any capacity then sure I'd want him to stay and go back to the academy. Its not gonna happen though and it never was gonna happen. In all honesty, as much as I like him as the academy coach, i'm sure there are others who can do a capable job there as well.
Why the big hoo ha about Redders treatment for god sake. Ok, he been treated terrible, but he walked into the job with his eyes wide open. Cellino treated every other member of staff and two dozen previous coaches in Italy and Leeds the same way. Doesn't make Cellino right but Redders knew exactly how this would end, same as us all, or he should have. In fairness, I don't hear him complaining, it's just sections of the fans. Guess what, Pearson will go the same way and so will the next coach and the one after
It's very early for you to be about. Is it potato delivery day in bogland, or are you going to do us all a favour and wipe out prince pompous? I can picture you now, stood waiting for hours with loads of sad twats waving your little Union Jacks as the ****ing tree hugging twat waves from the back of his speeding roller.
Can't stand the monarchy but I hate Gerry Adams even more. Can't believe the murdering coward is still alive. We should have put a bullet in the ****'s head years ago, and McGuinness ****ing IRA bastards
Niel I still think its Poyet Warburton is not an angry person although money is now flowing onto ROSLER who had one awful season at Wigan but the again he sold his best players and bought dross
He actually had one very good season at Wigan, and then a poor few months at the start of this season. Still don't think he's the answer, purely because Warburton seemed to do most of the work at Brentford and Coyle left him a very good squad at Wigan.
I was surprised to see Poyet so far out in the betting at 20/1, I wonder what the betting would be for Rosler to get appointed and sacked or leave before the season even starts.
