    The league we're in does not affect the SFA rules banning him from having a controlling interest in two clubs. It is the SFA and not UEFA standing in the way of him owning both.

    Hmm, I always thought it was UEFA rules prohibiting this. He'll get Rangers in the end. He'll get them over a barrel.

    The UEFA rules only state that if you own two clubs then they cannot compete in the same competition. This would mean that if both teams qualified for Europe then one would be barred from competing. The SFA brought in a rule banning dual ownership after the Hearts fiasco a few years ago.
