I'm thinking of moving abroad, but I need to work on a list of pros and cons before I make a final decision.

I'd miss a few family members, Charlton Athletic and many historical delights, yet I quite fancy a fresh start in Normandy or Languedoc. Oslo perhaps?

I need an objective viewpoint, though, and was hoping you guys could offer up a few pros and cons.

    Ta.

I suppose it depends what you mean by "Abroad". If its Iraq/Syria/Iran etc we need to know before offering our opinions.

    Come to Dubai, Ponders.

Hot, full of ****ers, overt racism exists, tax free money.

I use them sparingly; tinned goods are fine, but I get my fresh bits from M&S.

I've considered the Fatherland, Dev. It would have to be Saxony: they have a handle on immigration.

Dubai is out of the question: too hot for my Teutonic constitution.

Don't be like that, Suzy. I could come and visit you, eh? Be like the old days in Weston Super Mare.

Pros - look at the regulars on GC - you get to escape from us

I will certainly miss my regular meets with Gambol, Toby and pud. They'll have to find a new bass player.

My exquisite keyboard playing is the real reason I'm called Fingers. True story.
