The gun lobby will probably say that if all the people in the restaurants had been carrying guns as well they would have stopped it..
A country where people fight tooth and nail to keep guns in society but they,re the only westernised world leading country where health care isn,t for all, just those who can pay, priorities are out of whack to me
Doesn't seem to matter to them how many of their children are slaughtered in schools and universities, they won't ever give up their guns. I know it's harsh to say that they musn't love their kids enough, but you'd have thought they'd move heaven and earth to keep them safe. And they're not!
The constitution was constructed when civilian firepower consisted of a single-shot musket that took 15 seconds to reload. The constitution states the right to bear arms. In this day and age arms could be weapons grade plutonium. The constitution is not fit for purpose and should be torn up.
Once driving through West Boldon my sat nav told me there was a 'bear left' and on the footpath on the junction of Rectory Bank and North Road, there was a bloke in a full bear costume!
Driving through Arizona a few years ago came across a stand at the side of the road selling guns etc. For all I was a foreigner I could have bought one so long as I registered it within 48 hours under their state laws. Taken out of state would be a federal offence. Don't know how that worked but I could still have had a gun.
They all went mental buying assault rifles after the last school massacre a few years back. They thought such guns were going to be made illegal Have you lot seen the film Bowling for Columbine? All about the moronic gun culture in the US. Brilliant film

Bill, not being picky but you should have included their abstain vote to support us, France and even Israel in 1956 leading to the Suez crisis and subsequently the rise of nationalism in Egypt leading to the ensuring wars and current near east situation. At least they are democratic countries now even though Israel dominates, with massive US help.
