If we don't win on Sunday away to Stoke and Saints and Spurs do win their games, we will suffer the ignominy of having to play in the first qualifying round for the europa.

With a tour to Asia and Australia organised for those dates it could hit the club hard.

If this happens I fear any hope brendy has of keeping his job is surely gone.

 

To expand on the OP:

5th + CW - Group stage
6th - 3rd qualifying round
FP - 1st qualifying round

But even in the worst case that we don't win and the others do, if Arsenal win the FA Cup 7th gets a place and we don't qualify via FP

The CW place would be Group stage but if passed to 7th then 5th and 5th would be Group stage and 7th would be 3rd qualifying round

So the OP needs Aston Villa to win too

 

BTW the betting odds give the probability of all of the above happening as 0.51%

We have to finish 5th. We're practically in EL so going straight into the Group Stages will make a big difference - and it can be used to help attract some new players.
