You are oozing bitterness mate, lol. We have every right to be over the moon after being bottom of the pile for so long and dead and buried. But with a remarkable turn of form we showed some of the quality and attacking football we are more than capable of. I agree if you happen to stay up ( miracles do happen!!!) you should be less happy as with the current squad you have you will go down next season instead where as I feel we have a much stronger squad and no drug takers HAHAHAHAHAHA. wow you really are one thick piece of **** aren't you.... Talking out of your arse lol Even hull fans are commenting what a twat you are. Man up and don't be so bitter that your clueless owner is trying to destroy your club. Jog on pal, you're just embarrassing yourself now and your obvious lack of football knowledge of you are under the impression we have played **** this season, you obviously haven't watched us play much. Stop sucking that lemon.
What are these performance based incentives everyone's talking about? It's league rules that any performance bonuses have to be pre agreed before the season kicks off, if they were suddenly offered more money to start playing better its points deductions I believe. There was a case of an owner trying to do it not so long back and got in a right load of ****.
I've just investigated on Google, the bonus was pre agreed before the season, as it should be, as every club does. What's the problem? Our players will have the very same incentive.
Congratulations to Leicester, Fosse, Jack et al, I only wish that I'd backed you to stay up when you were at rock bottom, you've undoubtedly done well, **** knows how but it has to be said that you pulled it off magnificently all the same. AKCJ's still a prize **** though.
You going to back up this nonsense with any kind of facts? You act like we're the only team to offer bonuses. You offered one to your players upon promotion, that's a fact and you will have offered them one to stay up also. Burnley paid out £7.9m in bonuses for getting to the top flight last year... BURNLEY!!!!!!
I have no facts, I was merely speculating. Being a law student and working first hand with big clients I know that businesses seek loopholes all the time. Not saying you did it for sure or that you're the only one (if anything and you look back at my posts on this thread I'm one of the people actually congratulating you for staying up) I just know that it happens
Incentive bonus's are not that unusual in any profesion, but you can be sure Hull City will think outside the box and tell our players they get a wage cut if we go down. Carrot or stick, which is the best?
Yes there have been congratulations which I appreciate. There has also been people accusing our owners of "bribing" players and "offering them a bung" to make an effort. Making an effort is one thing the players had done all year. If there was one thing you could never accuse a Pearson team of is not trying, I'm sure you guys know that as well. For all his tactical flaws you know team spirit and effort will never drop.
I never subscribed to the theory your team had taken incentives or bungs on top of a standard contract bonus. I just said if it happened this is how it could happen. You're arguing with the wrong person
If the Foxes can stay up we can.. FFS, they beat United 5-3 earlier in the season and against a stronger team than Utd will turn up with on sunday.
True enough, but as always Tickles you're missing the critical point, in their heads our squad have already gone, and Man Utd don't really have a weak starting eleven.
Still think you have a fighting chance - they are far from solid defensively and they won't relish playing against N'Doye and Jelavic if the two are really up for it - but they will be dangerous on the break and that may be your Achilles heel if you defend like you did against Spurs - good luck
